These sections are situated in the Makuri District, in the neighbourhood of Makuri, and are approached chiefly by roads leading into or towards that township. They consist principally of land in the Makuri and adjoining valleys, or country sloping into or served by them or their road-systems. The land, taken as a whole, would be considered suitable for sheep-farming, as it contains some good soil on papa or limestone formation.
