Section 15, Block II., Ngatimaru.—Weighted with £15 for improvements. Broken pastoral country, fair soil; papa formation; well watered. There are about 8 acres of flat land on the section. The timber comprises rata, rimu, &c., with usual undergrowth. The Matau Road is open for horse-traffic to the section. Distance from Inglewood, twenty-seven miles and a half.
Section 2, Block III., Ngatimaru.—Weighted with £40 valuation for improvements. About 10 acres flat, remainder steep and broken land; good soil, on papa formation; well watered. Frontage to Junction Road, which is formed through to Ohura Road for horse-traffic. Distance from Inglewood, about twenty-seven miles and a half. The timber on the section comprises rimu, tawa, &c., with the usual undergrowth.
Section 3, Block III., Ngatimaru.—Weighted with £48 valuation for improvements. About 10 acres flat, balance steep and broken pastoral land; good soil, on papa formation, and well watered. The timber is principally tawa and rimu, with usual undergrowth. Frontage to Junction Road, which is formed through to Ohura Road from Stratford for horse-traffic. Distance from Inglewood, about twenty-eight miles.
Section 27, Block VI., Ngatimaru.—Weighted with £37 10s. valuation for improvements. Broken pastoral land, covered with forest of tawa, rimu, and rata, with usual undergrowth. Good soil, on papa formation; well watered. Frontage to Matau Road, which is open for horse-traffic. Distance from Inglewood, about twenty-eight miles.
Section 16, Block II., Ngatimaru.—Weighted with £69 3s. valuation for improvements. Fair pastoral country; well watered; papa formation. Timber comprises rimu and rata, with usual undergrowth. Access by Matau Road, which is formed for horse-traffic. Distance from Inglewood, about twenty-seven miles.
Section 1, Block III., Ngatimaru.—Fair pastoral country, covered with bush, principally of rimu, rata, &c., with usual undergrowth; papa formation; well watered. Frontage to Rakorako Road, which is open for horse-traffic, and is a branch of the Matau. Distance from Inglewood, about twenty-eight miles and a half.
Section 6, Block III., Ngatimaru.—Weighted with £18 valuation for improvements. A few acres of flat land, balance pastoral land of fair quality; good soil, well watered, on papa formation. Timber is principally rimu, rata, and tawa, with usual undergrowth. Access by Junction Road, which is open for horse-traffic through to Ohura Road from Stratford. Distance from Inglewood, about twenty-eight miles and a half.
Section 4, Block XIV., Ngatimaru.—Rough pastoral land, covered with timber of tawa, rimu, and rata, with usual undergrowth. Papa formation; well watered. This section has a rough frontage to Tututawa Road, which is open for horse-traffic. Distance from Stratford, about nineteen miles and a half.
Sections 10 and 11, Block XV., Ngatimaru.—Rough pastoral land; well watered; papa formation, and covered with bush, principally of rimu, rata, and tawa, with the usual undergrowth. Frontage to Taihore Road, which is open for horse-traffic. Distance from Stratford Railway-station, about twenty-five miles.
