me by the one hundred and thirteeth section of "The
Lands Act, 1892," I, James Prendergast, the Adminstrator
of the Government of the Colonly of New Zealnd, do here
by appoint Friday, the first day of October, one thousand
and ninty seven, as the time at which the
lands enumerated in the schedule hereto shall be sold by
public aution; and I do herey fix the prices at which the
said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said
Schedle hereto following the description of such lands re
spectivey.

FIXING SITINGS, DISTRICT COURT.

In pursuance and exercise of the power and authority in
this behalfe enabing me, I, James Prendergast, the
Administrator of the Government of the Colonly of New
Zealand, do herey fix and appoint that sittings of the Dis
trict Court of Wairarap for civil and criminal business
shll be held in the Courthouse at Masterton on the fourth
Wednesday in March, June, and September, and the second
Wednesday in December, in every year:
Provided that, in case any of the days so fixed as afores
said shall happen to be a holiday, then the Court appoited
for that day shall be holden on the first day thereafer not
being a holiday.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Adminis
tator of the Government, this 5th day of
Augsut, one thousand eight hundred and ninty
seve.

Removal of Restrictions on Aliendation of Ntive Land.

Whereas application has been made to the Governr
by the owners of the land described in the schedule
hereto, praying that the restrictons on the alientation of such
land contained in the Cown grant dted the 5th day of
Decembr, one thousand eight hundred and sevety seven,
me y be removed: And wheras inqury has been made by
the Ntive Land Court, and the said Court has recommended
that such restrictons be removed:
Now, therefore, I, James Prendergast, the Adminstrator
of the Government of the Colonly of New Zealnd, in pur
suanse and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the
fifty second section of "The Ntive Land Court Act, 1894,",
and in accorance with the recommendaion of the Ntive
land Court, do herey order and declare that all restric
tions imposd by the said Cown grant on the alientaion of
the said land are herey removed.
SCHEDULE.
All that parce of land, containing 110 ares 2 rods 17
perches, situate in the Provincal District of Wellington,
and being section 365 on the plan of the Township of Car
narvon, in the Manawatu District, and being the whole of
the land in Cown grant dted 5th December, 1877, in
fauor of Pire Wharekaka and three others, containing the
follwoing restrictons: "Inalienable by sale, or by lese for
a longer period than twety one years, or by mortage,
except with the consent of the Governr being previously
obtained to every such sale, lese, or mortage. "

mde by the Ntive Land Court, and the said Court has
recommended that such restrictons be removed:
Now, therefore, I, James Prendergast, the Adminstrator
of the Government of the Colonly of New Zealnd, in pur
