HIS Excellency the Administrator of the Government has been pleased to appoint the under-mentioned gentlemen to be Public Vaccinators, under "The Public Health Act, 1876," for the districts set respectively opposite their names, viz.:-

THE following special order, made by the Fitzherbert Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of "The Road Boards Act, 1882."

SPECIAL ORDER made by the Fitzherbert Road Board at the Ordinary Meeting held on Tuesday, the 13th Day of July, 1897.
THAT a special rate of 1d. in the pound be made on the value of the following properties-Sections 206, 218, 219, 220, 221, 223, and 224, Block XV., Kairanga Survey District; 222, 225, 226, 227, 228, 229, 230, 231, and 232, Block XI., Kairanga Survey District; 233, 238, 234, 235, 236, 237, 239, 242, 244, 246, 240, 241, 243, 245, 247, 249, 251, 253, 248, 250, 252, and 254, Block XII., Kairanga Survey District; 290, 291, 292, 293, 294, 303, 297, 298, 299, 300, 301, 302, and 304, Block XVI., Kairanga Survey District; 360, 361, 362, 363, 364, 365, 366, and 367, Block V., Gorge Survey District; 368, 369, 370, 371, 372, and 373, Block IV., Gorge Survey District; 1, 3, 5, 7, and 8, Block II., Mangahao Survey District; and 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 10, 11, and part 12, Block XIX., Mangahao Survey District; and all within the Fitzherbert Road District-for the purpose of providing interest and other annual charges on a loan of Β£250, to be raised under sections 21 and 22 of "The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," being 10 per centum of the loan of Β£2,500 originally authorised for the construction of the Cliff Road, Fitzherbert East, commencing at the north-west boundary of Section 206, Block XV., Kairanga Survey District, from thence to a distance of about 125 chains, to form a junction with the Main Road East near the north-east boundary of Section 221, Block XV., Kairanga Survey District, both sections being in the Fitzherbert Road District. Such rate to be an annually-recurring rate for a period of twenty-six years, and shall be payable at the office of the Fitzherbert Road Board in two instalments-viz., on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each year.
I hereby certify that the foregoing special order has been duly made by the Fitzherbert Road Board, as required by "The Road Boards Act, 1882."

THE following special order, made by the Pukekohe West Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of "The Road Boards Act, 1882."

SPECIAL ORDER made by the Pukekohe West Road Board.
RESOLVED, That the Pukekohe West Road District be divided into two subdivisions, to be called the Buckland Subdivision and the Pukekohe Subdivision, with the boundaries described in the Schedule hereto; that the number of members to be elected for the Buckland Subdivision shall be one, and for the Pukekohe Subdivision shall be four; that this special order shall take effect from the date of publication in the Gazette.
Schedule.-Pukekohe West Road District.-Buckland Sub-division.
All that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the east generally by the Auckland-Waikato Railway from the southern boundary-line of Section No. 24, Pukekohe Parish, to the Otutainui Stream; thence by that stream to its confluence with the Whakapipi Stream; thence by that stream and Sections Nos. 4 and 3, Tuakau Parish,
and a line along the middle of the road forming part of the north-eastern boundary of Section No. 49, to a point in line with the north-western boundary-line of Section No. 1, Tuakau Parish; thence by a right line to and by that section to its southernmost corner; and thence by a line due south to the middle of the Waikato River: thence towards the south-west by a line along the middle of the Waikato River to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 18, Pukekohe Parish: thence towards the north-west generally by a right line to and by Section No. 18 aforesaid to the south-western boundary-line of Section No. 9; thence by that boundary-line for a distance of 3250 links; thence by a right line at right angles to that boundary-line for a distance of 24 chains, and thence by a right line to the southernmost corner of Section No. 48; thence by that section and the production of its south-eastern boundary-line to the middle of the road which forms its northern boundary; thence by a line along the middle of that road to a point in line with the eastern boundary-line of Section No. 49; thence by a right line to the south-eastern corner of the said Section No. 49; thence by that section and the road forming the northern boundary of Section No. 47 to the road forming the south-western boundary of Section No. 46; thence by the latter road and by the north-western and part of the north-eastern boundary of the said Section No. 46 to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 24, Pukekohe Parish; thence by a right line to the southernmost corner of the said Section No. 24, and thence by that section to the Auckland-Waikato Railway aforesaid.
Pukekohe Subdivision.
All that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north by the Parishes of Waiau and Karaka; towards the east generally by Sections Nos. 2, 5, 29, 15, and 12, Pukekohe Parish, to the Auckland-Waikato Railway, by that railway and the Buckland Subdivision hereinbefore described; towards the south and south-east generally by a line along the middle of the Waikato River to a point in line with the south-western boundary-line of the Purapura Native Reserve; thence towards the west generally by a right line to and by that boundary-line and by the western and north-western boundary-lines of that reserve, by the south-eastern, south-western, north-western, and north-eastern boundary-lines of Section No. 2, Puni Parish, by the road forming the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 17, by Sections Nos. 3, 16, 38, and 39, the road forming part of the north-eastern boundary of Section No. 40, by Sections Nos. 36, 34, and 32, Puni Parish, and by part of the north-eastern boundary of the Puni Parish to the southern boundary of the Waiau Parish aforesaid.
I certify that the above special order has been duly passed in accordance with "The Road Boards Act, 1882."

UNDER the provisions of "The Public Payments without Probate Act, 1869," and the regulations made thereunder, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 1870, page 212, and of section 4 of "The Administration Act 1879 Amendment Act, 1885," the Colonial Treasurer intends to make a payment of money due to the above-named deceased to a person not being her legal representative. All persons objecting to such payment being made must give notice to the Colonial Treasurer, at Wellington, within one calendar month from the date of the Gazette containing this notice, when their objections will be considered.
