Mining Notices.
MOUNT CATHERINE GOLD-MINING COMPANY
(LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general
meeting of shareholders of the Mount Catherine Gold-
mining Company (Limited), held at the registered office of
the company, Mercantile Chambers, Queen Street, Auckland,
on the 16th June, 1897, the following special resolutions were
passed: (1.) "That the company be wound up voluntarily
under The Companies Act, 1882." (2.) "That William
Gray be appointed Liquidator." The said special resolutions
were duly confirmed at a properly-constituted meeting of
shareholders, held at the same place, on the 7th July, 1897.

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of
"The Foreign Companies Act, 1884," and "The
Mining Act, 1891," that the situation of the Office or place
of business in New Zealand of the Britannia (Hauraki)
Gold-mining Company (Limited) and the Waitaia Gold-
mines (Limited) has been changed from Bank Buildings,
Wyndham Street, Auckland, to Kapanga Road, Coromandel.

I, THE undersigned, hereby make application to register
the Akbar Gold-mining Company as a no-liability
company under the provisions of "The Mining Companies
Act, 1894."
- The name of the company is to be the Akbar Gold-
mining Company (No Liability). - The place of operations is at Waikanae, Coromandel.
- The registered office of the company will be situated
at the Government Life Insurance Buildings, Queen Street,
Auckland. - The value of the company's property, including claim
and machinery, is one thousand pounds. - The number of shares in the company is fifty thousand,
of one shilling each. - The number of shares subscribed for is forty-four thou-
sand seven hundred and fifty. - The name of the Manager is Sydney Thornburgh
Twentyman. - The names and addresses and occupations of the share-
holders, and the number of shares held by each at this date,
