Vesting a Reserve in the Mount Wellington Road Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-second day of April, 1897.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was permanently reserved as a public watering-place on the twenty-eighth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-nine:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient that the said land should be vested in the Mount Wellington Road Board:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in “The Inhabitants of the Mount Wellington Road District,” in trust, as a public water reserve.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 31 perches, more or less, situated in the Otahuhu Survey District, and being Lot No. 49 of Section No. 1 of small lots near the Village of Panmure. Bounded towards the north by a road, 350 links; towards the east by Lot No. 52, 556 links; towards the south by Lot No. 57, 350 links; and towards the west by Lot No. 50, 556 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto were permanently reserved for plantations on the twenty-sixth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six:
And whereas, in the opinion of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, it is expedient that the said land should be vested in the Mount Wellington Road Board:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserves mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in “The Inhabitants of the Mount Wellington Road District,” in trust for plantation reserves.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land, being Lot No. 33A of Section No. 12 of the Suburbs of Auckland, situate in the Otahuhu Survey District, Auckland Land District, and containing by admeasurement 3 acres 1 rood 35 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north by Lot No. 33 of Section No. 12 aforesaid, 1156 links; towards the south-east by Lot No. 31 of Section No. 12 aforesaid, 90 links, and by a public road, 451 links and 331 links; and towards the south-west by a public road, 696 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
All that parcel of land, being Lot No. 33B of Section No. 12 of the Suburbs of Auckland, situate in the Otahuhu Survey District, Auckland Land District, and containing by admeasurement 1 rood 38 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the south-east by a public road, 434 links; towards the south by a public road, 313 links; and towards the north-west by Lot No. 33 of Section 12 of the Suburbs of Auckland aforesaid, 691 links, to the point of commencement; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
All that parcel of land, being Lot No. 33C of Section No. 12 of the Suburbs of Auckland, situate in the Otahuhu Survey District, Auckland Land District, and containing by admeasurement 1 rood 30 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the south-east by a public road, 449 links and 381 links; and towards the north-west by Lot No. 33 of Section No. 12 aforesaid, 796 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

Notifying Lands in Auckland for Sale by Public Auction.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one hundred and thirteenth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, James Prendergast, the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Friday, the twenty-fifth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-seven, as the time at which the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto following the description of such lands respectively.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Township of Howick, Lot 32, Section 2: 2 roods 14 perches; total upset price, £23 10s.
Township of Tokatoka, Lots 36, 37, 38: Each 2 roods 9 perches; upset price per lot, £11 5s.
Township of Mangapai, Lot 34: 1 acre; upset price, £20.
Taupiri Parish (Waikato County), Section 281: 4 acres 3 roods; upset price, £4 15s.
Whangarei County (Opua-whanga Survey District).—Section 7A, Block V., containing 635 acres: Total upset price, £445 4s. 2d.; situated about three miles from Whananaki Inlet and eight miles from Otonga Railway-station, and comprises broken forest country, well watered; soil fair to poor in quality; contains about 625,000 ft. kauri timber.
Section 30, Block XI.: 226 acres and 16 perches; total upset price, £124 6s.; situated about five miles from Hikurangi Railway-station, and comprising poor broken land with burnt bush, containing about 300,000 ft. dry kauri timber on north-east side.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, this fifteenth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-seven.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one hundred and thirteenth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, James Prendergast, the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Wednesday, the ninth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-seven, as the time at which the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction at Blenheim; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto following the description of such lands.
