Removal of Restrictions on Alienation of Native Land.

JAMES PRENDERGAST,
Administrator of the Government.

WHEREAS application has been made to the Governor
by the owner of the lands described in the Schedule
hereto, praying that the restrictions on the alienation of such
lands contained in the Native Land Court certificate of
title bearing date the twenty-second day of September, one
thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, and now contained
in a partition order bearing date the thirteenth day of
August, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-six, may be
removed: And whereas inquiry has been duly made by the
Native Land Court, and the said Court has recommended
that such restrictions be removed:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the
Government of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance
and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the fifty-
second section of "The Native Land Court Act, 1894,"
and in accordance with the recommendation of the Native
Land Court, doth hereby order and declare that all restric-
tions imposed by the said certificate of title and partition
order on the alienation of the said lands are hereby re-
moved.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land, containing 50 acres, being the land
known as Awarua No. 2c No. 13s, held under partition
order dated 13th August, 1896, in favour of Horima Paerau,
and containing the following restrictions: "Absolutely in-
alienable."

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Adminis-
trator of the Government, this ninth day of
March, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-
seven.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the sixth section of "The Ceme-
teries Act, 1882," I, James Prendergast, the Administrator of
the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby
appoint the several persons whose names are specified in the
first column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to pro-
vide for the maintenance and care of the public cemetery
specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

Act, 1882," I, James Prendergast, the Administrator of the
Government of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby
appoint

FREDERICK CHADWICK

to be a Trustee, in the place of William McIlwraith, deceased,
to provide for the maintenance and care of the Pahi Public
Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons appointed
on the fifth day of November, one thousand eight hundred
and eighty-four.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Adminis-
trator of the Government, this ninth day of
March, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-
seven.
