THE MARLBOROUGH FARMERS’ CO-OPERATIVE ASSOCIATION.

NOTICE is hereby given that an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of the above Association was held at the Good Templars’ Hall, Grove Road, on Saturday, 23rd January, 1897, when the following extraordinary resolution was passed: “That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the shareholders that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and it is therefore advisable to wind up the same.” And the following resolution was also passed: “That the Marlborough Farmers’ Co-operative Association be now wound up, and that Mr. Edward Mead be appointed Liquidator.”

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 202 of “The Companies Act, 1882,” that a general meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held, at the Town Hall, Gore, on Friday, the 2nd day of April, 1897, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidators; and also of determining, by extraordinary resolution, the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company, and of the Liquidators thereof, shall be disposed of.
