Resuming Land in Hamilton West for Post and Telegraph Purposes.
GLASGOW, Governor.
WHEREAS by the fourth section of “The Reserves and Crown Lands Disposal and Enabling Act, 1896,” it is enacted that the Governor may, by Gazette notice, resume Section No. 55 of the Town of Hamilton West, containing one acre, as a reserve for post and telegraph purposes, and may grant in exchange therefor to the Waikato Hospital and Charitable Aid Board certain sections therein particularly mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the hereinbefore in part recited provision of the said Act, do hereby notify and declare that I hereby resume Section No. 55 of the Town of Hamilton West aforesaid, containing by admeasurement one acre, more or less, as a reserve for post and telegraph purposes, in order that effect may be given to the said provision of the said Act.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this nineteenth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-seven.

Resuming Land in Ashburton as Reserves for Agricultural and Stock Purposes.
GLASGOW, Governor.
WHEREAS by the seventeenth section of “The Reserves and Crown Lands Disposal and Enabling Act, 1896,” it is enacted that the Governor, with the consent of the Borough Council of Ashburton, may, by Gazette notice, resume as reserves for agricultural and stock purposes Sections Nos. 991 and 1000 of the Town of Ashburton, and may in exchange therefor grant to the Corporation of the Borough of Ashburton certain sections therein particularly mentioned:
And whereas the Borough Council of Ashburton, by a resolution passed on the fourteenth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-six, have consented to the resumption of the aforesaid sections, and have agreed to accept the sections mentioned in the seventeenth section of the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the hereinbefore in part recited provision of the said Act, do hereby notify and declare that I hereby resume Sections Nos. 991 and 1000 of the Town of Ashburton aforesaid as reserves for agricultural and stock purposes, in order that effect may be given to the said provision of the said Act.
