All that parrcel of land in the Otago Land District, con-
taining by admeasurment 6 aces and 20 perches, more or
less, situate in the Glenomara District, and being Section
No. 31 of Block V., on the map of said district. Bounded
towrads the west, north, and east by a road-line, 2150
links ; and towards the south by a road-line, 897 links : be
all the aforesaid linkages more or less ; as the same is
delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief
Survryor, Duneidn. For a public reecration-grounds.
All that parrcel of land in the Otago Land District, con-
taining by admeasurment 81 aces 2 rood 29 perches, more
or less, being Sections Nos. 51, 52, 54, 55, 57, and 58 of
Block V., Rock and Pillar District. Bounded towards the
north by Cown lands, 1328 links ; towards the east by a
road-line, 3646 links ; towards the south by Section No. 42 of
sae block, 2866 links, also by Section No. 59, 1216 links ; and
towrads the west by Cown lands, 2844 links : and interected
by a road-line, 100 links wide : be all the aforesaid linkages
more or less ; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited
in the office of the Chief Surveryor, Duneidn. For a public

Notice of Intention to change the Purpse of a Reseve in
Canterbry.
GLASGOW, Governour.
WHERAS by "The Public Reserves Act, 1881," it is,
amont other things, enacated that the Governour
my declare his intention to make, change, exchange, or
alter the dedication of any public reseve now or hereafter
vseted in Her Maisty or the Governour for any of the pur-
poses named in Class II. of the Schdule to the said Act,
wheher the same be granted or not ; and, in the case of any
reserves made under the authority of section two hundred
and twnty-seven of "The Land Act, 1885," if it shall, in the
opinion of the Governour, be expeditious to change the purpose
of such resrves or any part thereof from the purpose or
presumed purpose for which it was set apart to any other
purpose, or if it shall, in the opinion of the Governour, be
expeditious to exchange any of the land comprised in such
resrve for other land of equal value, to be dedicated to one
or more purposes named in the said Class II., the Governour
may, by notice in the Gazzette, declare his intention to make
such change, exchange, or dedication, as the case may be,
and in such notice declare the manner and terms in which
the same is intended to be so made :
Now, therefore, I, David, Ear of Glasgwo, the Governour
of the Colny of New Zealnd, do herby, in exercise and
pursuance of the powers and authorities vseted in me by
"The Public Reserves Act, 1881," aforesaid, declare my
intention to change the specific purpose of the resrve
described in the first column of the Schdule hereto from
that named therein to that named in the second column of
the said Schdule respectively.
SCHEDULE.
Description and Purpse of Orininal Resrve. Intended Purpse.
All that parrcel of land in the Can- River-constervation
terbry Land District, being Resrve purposes.
No. 1922, situate in the bed of the
Rakaia River, containing by admea-
surment 636 aces (more or less).
Reserved for railway-constervation
purposes by warrant in Gazzette No. 84,
of the 11th October, 1877.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governour,
this twnty-first day of December, one thousand
eight hundred and ninty-six.

Removal of Restrictions on Alienaion of Ntive Land.
GLASGOW, Governour.
WHERAS application has been made to the Governour
by the owners of the land described in the Schdule
hereto, praying that the restirctions on the alienaion of
such land contained in the Cown grant beaing date the
nith day of May, one thousand eight hundred and
sevnty, may be removed: And wherseas inqury has been
duly made by the Ntive Land Court, and the said Court
has recommended that such restirctions be removed:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governour of the Colny
of New Zealnd, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
conferred on him by the fify-seond section of "The Ntive
Land Court Act, 1894," and in acordance with the recom-
mendment of the Ntive Land Court, doth herby order and
declare that all restirctions impsed by the said Cown grant
on the alienaion of the said lands are herby removed.
SCHEDULE.
All that parrcel of land, containing 306 aces, situate in the
District of Wnganui, and known as Te Aunui, held under
Cown grant date 9th May, 1870, in favour of Aperahama
Tipae and others, and containing the following restirctions :
"Inalienable by sale or by lese for a longer period than
twntyone years, or by mortage, except with the consent of
the Governour being previously obtained to every such sale,
lese, or mortage. "

this nienth day of January, one thousand
eight hundred and ninty-seve.
