Land withdrawn from State Forest.

RANFURLY, Governor.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto is a State forest under the control of the Commissioner of State Forests appointed under "The New Zealand State Forests Act, 1885" (hereinafter termed "the said Act"), and the said land is now no longer required for State-forest purposes: And whereas plans showing the extent and position of the said land, and a statement of the reasons why it is no longer required for State-forest purposes, have been laid before both Houses of Parliament for a period of thirty days, and no resolution has been passed by either of such Houses objecting to the issue of this Proclamation:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers conferred by "The New Zealand State Forests Act Amendment Act, 1888," and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby revoke the Warrant and Proclamation specified in the second column of the Schedule hereto, so far as they relate to the land described in the first column of the Schedule hereto, as from the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette; and doth hereby proclaim and declare that from and after such date the parcel of land described in the first column of the Schedule hereto shall be no longer subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Marlborough Land District.
All that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 1,150 acres, more or less, being Sections Nos. 4A and 5A, Block X., Wakamarina Survey District, and Sections Nos. 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 14A, 15, 16, 17, and parts of 18 and 19, Block XIV., Wakamarina Survey District aforesaid. Proclamation dated the 2nd March, 1887, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 23, of the 7th April, 1887, page 439.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this fourteenth day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-seven.

Declaring a State Forest in the Land District of Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by "The New Zealand State Forests Act, 1885," and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby set apart the forest land described in the Schedule hereto, forming part of the Crown lands in New Zealand, as and for a State forest within the provisions of the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.

All that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 3,900 acres, more or less, being Section No. 3, Blocks VI., X., Rewa Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Sections 648, 649, 650; towards the east generally by Sections 614, 613, 679, 681, and 2; towards the south generally by Runs 51 and 52; towards the west generally by Run 51 and Sections 669, 667, and 662: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington.

Revoking a Proclamation.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by the one hundred and sixty-second section of "The Land Act, 1892," and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do by this notice hereby revoke that part of a Proclamation dated the first day of September, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-six, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 70, dated the tenth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-six, setting apart land for Rongaiti Improved-farm Special Settlement, as set forth in the Schedule hereto.
