IN pursuance of the regulations made by Order in Council issued on the fifth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-three, under the authority of "The Native Districts Regulation Act, 1858," and published in the New Zealand Gazette dated the seventh of June in the same year, I do hereby appoint you, the said Alexander Tait, to be Poundkeeper for the public pound which has been established on Section 7, Block XI., on the plan of the Township of Rotorua.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this nineteenth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-six.
