NOTICE is hereby given that, at the sitting of the Native Land Court to be held at Hokitika on the 14th day of
January, 1897, the Court will proceed to hear and determine the several matters hereunder mentioned, and in
respect whereof jurisdiction has been given to the Court by Orders in Council dated respectively the 24th day of August,
1896, and the 16th day of December, 1896; that is to say—
To determine the relative shares and interests of the Natives who have been found by the Court to be entitled to the
rents of the 417 acres reserved for a pa in the Arahura Native Reserve.
To determine what proportion of the sum of £1,593, now in the hands of the Public Trustee, being the compensation
paid by the Government for the Arahura Native Reserve, is payable to the owners of the 417 acres above mentioned.

NOTICE is hereby given that, at the sitting of the Native Land Court to be held at Hokitika on the 14th day of
January, 1897, the Court will proceed to hear and determine the matter hereunder mentioned, in respect whereof
jurisdiction has been given to the Court by Order in Council dated the 16th day of December, 1896; that is to say, to
determine the ownership of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and the relative shares and interests therein of the
owners thereof.

SCHEDULE.

All that parcel of land, containing, by admeasurement, 300 acres, more or less, situated at the eastern end of the Arahura
Reserve, being a portion of that reserve not dealt with in 1879 under the Royal Commission issued to Mr. Thomas Young.
