IT is herebly notifled that the under-mentioned pastoral lands will be submitted, as temporary licences under section 219 of "The Land Act, 1892," to public auctior, at this office, on Thursday, the 24th day of December, 1896, at 11 a.m.

Description.

Run 517: Soi light, with shingle bottom; good sprinkling of English grasses, the remairder red tussock; well watered; height above sea-level, from 200ft. to 400ft.; distance from Otautau, about thirly miles.

Run 518: Broken pastoral country; well watered; covered with good native grasses; height above sea-level, from 400ft. to 600ft.; distance from Otautau, about thirly-thrce miles.

Run 519: Broken pastoral country; soi heavy, with clay bottom; well watered, and covered with good native grasses; height above sea-level, from 350ft. to 800ft.; distance from Otautau, about thirly miles.

Possession will be given on the day of sale.

Purchasers must depoist the statutorv declaation required by section 195 of "The Land Act, 1892," and pay the sum of the first half-year's rent and license-tee on the fall of the hammer.

This run is situate about one mile and a half fromAthol Township by main road. The country is high and broken, of slate formarion, and fairly grassed with white tussock, mostly well watered. Heigbt above sea-level range from 900ft. to 3,300ft.

Possession will be given on the day of sale.

IT is herebly notifled that tenders for the leas of the under-mentioned allotments will be received at this office up to 4 o'clock p.m. on Monday, the 21st of December, 1896. Plans and form of leas can be seen at this office. The term of the leas will be fourteen years. No allowance whatever shall be payabie on account of improvemerts effected by the lessee. A depoist of a half-year's rent at the rate tendcred, and £1 1s. leas-tee, must be encloscd with each tcrder. The highest or any tcrder will not necessarily be accepted.
