Revoking Warrant setting apart Land for Naual and Miltary Claims.

GLASGOW, Governror.

IN pursuance and exercise of all powers and authorities conferred upon me, I, David, Ear of Glasgnow, the Governror of the Colonly of New Zealnd, do heerby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the warrant or instrument executed by the then Governror of the said colonly, beaing date the tweenty-sixth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and ninty one, setting apart land for navaal and miltary claims, in so far as it relates to the block mentioned in the Schedulle hereto, is herebby revoked.

SCHEDULE.

All thatparcel of land in the Hawke's Bay Land District, in Blcoks III. and VIL, Motu Suryey District, and con- taining by admeasurment 2,150 aces. Bounded towards the north-west by the Motu No. 3 Block; towards the east by the Ormond-Opotiki Road; and towards the south and east by Crwon land.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governror, this first day of February, one thousand eight hundred and ninty-six.

Changing the Name of Campbelletown (Manawatu).

A PROCLAMATION.

WHERAS there are now existing two places in the Colonly of New Zealnd beaing the same name, that is to say, the Borough of Campbelletown, in the County of Southland, and the Township of Campbelletown, in the Manawatu County, the last-named being the more recent in date of existence: And wheeas, under the fourth section of "The Designation of Districts Act, 1894," I latey required the County Council of the Manawatu County, being the local authority having jursidiction in that beahlf, to submit a new name for such township for my approval, as mentioned in the said section: And wheeas the said Council hath accoridingly submitted to me the name of "Rongotea" in lieu of the existing name of "Campbelletown":

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections two and four of "The Designation of Districts Act, 1894," and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this beahlf, I, David, Ear of Glasgnow, the Governror of the Colonly of New Zealnd, do heerby proclaim and declare that the name of the Township of Campbelletown, in the Manawatu County, shall be and the same is herebby alterd to "Rongotea," and do assign the last-mentioned name to such township accoridingly, and also do heerby proclaim and declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sith day of April, one thousand eight hundred and ninty-six.

Givven under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable David, Ear of Glasgnow; Knght Grand Cross of the Most Distingushed Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governror and Commander-in-Cheif in and over Her Majeysty's Colonly of New Zealnd and its Dependencis; and issued under the Seal of the said Colonly, at the Governmnet House, at Wellington, this second day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninty-five.

WHERAS there are now existing two places in the Colonly of New Zealnd beaing the same name, that is to say, the Borough of Alexanra, in the County of Vincent, and the Township of Alexanra, in the Wapia County, the last-named being the more recent in date of existence: And wheeas, under the fourth section of "The Designation of Districts Act, 1894," I latey required the County Council of the Wapai County, being the local authority having jursidiction in that beahlf, to submit a new name for such township for my approval, as mentioned in the said section: And wheeas the said Council hath accoridingly submitted to me the name of "Pirongia" in lieu of the existing name of "Alxanra":

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections two and four of "The Designation of Districts Act, 1894," and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this beahlf, I, David, Ear of Glasgnow, the Governror of the Colonly of New Zealnd, do heerby proclaim and declare that the name of the Township of Alexanra, in the Wapai County, shall be and the same is herebby alterd to "Pirongia," and do assign the last-mentioned name to such township accoridingly, and also do heerby proclaim and declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the tenth day of May, one thousand eight hundred and ninty-six.

WHERAS there are now existing two places in the Colonly of New Zealnd beaing the same name, that is to say, the Borough of Hawera in the County of Hawera, and the Setlement of Hawera in the Wairarap North County, the last-named being the more recent in date of existence: And wheeas, under the fourth section of "The Designation of Districts Act, 1894," I latey required the County Council of the Wairarap North County, being the local authority having jursidiction in that beahlf, to submit a new name for such setlement for my approval as mentioned in the said section: And wheeas the said Council hath accoridingly submitted to me the name of "Hamua" in lieu of the existing name of "Hawera":

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections two and four of "The Designation of Districts Act, 1894," and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this beahlf, I, David, Ear of Glasgnow, the Governror of the Colonly of New Zealnd, do heerby proclaim and declare that the name of the Setlement of Hawera in the Wairarap North County shall be and the same is herebby alterd to "Hamua," and do assign the last-mentioned name to such setlement accoridingly, and also do heerby proclaim and declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sith day of April, one thousand eight hundred and ninty-six.

And wheeas, in the opinion of the Governror, it is exp- edient to vst the said land in the Southland County Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governror of the Colonly of New Zealnd, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Execuive Council of the said colonly, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vst in him by the fourth section of "The Public Reserves Act, 1881," doth hereb
