  1. To strike out the words “together with that,” line 11, page 2, and to insert in place thereof the words “the composition.”

  2. To strike out the word “chloride,” line 1, claim 1, and to substitute therefor the words “other salts.”

  3. To affix the letter “s” to the word “solution,” line 1, claim 1.

  4. To strike out the words, “substantially as described, and for the purposes specified,” where they are repeated at the end of the first claim, and to insert them instead at the end of the second claim.

  5. To strike out the word “chloride” at the end of clause (a) of the third claim, and to insert in place of that word the words “other salts.”

  6. To correct the spelling of the word “purposes” in the concluding line of the third claim by altering the letter “n” to the letter “u,” and in the concluding line of the fourth claim by altering the final “r” to the letter “s.”

The applicant states, “My reason for making this amendment is to more correctly describe the process by which my invention is carried into effect.”
