Proclaiming the Taking of a Road through Private Lands in
Otamatea County.

A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by
section thirteen of "The Land Act, 1892," I, David,
Earl of Glasgow, Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
with the consent of the owners, mortgagees, and tenants of
the lands hereinafter mentioned, and with the consent of the
Otamatea County Council, being the local authority in whose
district the said lands are situated, do by this notice hereby
proclaim as a road the lands in the Parish of Kaiwaka,
Otamatea County, mentioned in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
The several parcels of land mentioned in list hereunder:—

Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's
Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies;

at the Government House, at Wellington, this
twelfth day of September, in the year of our

with the consent of the owner of the lands hereinafter men-
tioned, and with the consent of the Clutha County Council,
being the local authority in whose district the said lands are
situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as open the road,
and as taken the land, in the Woodland Survey District
mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

the road in the Otamatea County hereinafter described, that
is to say:—

Taranaki Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred
by the one hundred and sixty-second section of "The
Land Act, 1892," and of all other powers and authorities
enabling me in this behalf, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the block of land described in the Schedule
hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared
open for special settlement.
SCHEDULE.
TAWAI IMPROVED-FARM SPECIAL SETTLEMENT.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing
by admeasurement 403 acres 1 rood 13 perches, more or
less, being Sections Nos. 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, 28,
29, 30, 31, 33, 35, 36, 37, 38, and 40, Block VII., Awakino
North Survey District. Bounded towards the north by
Section No. 3, Block V.; towards the east and south-east
by the road along the Manganui and Awakino Rivers;
towards the south by the Awakino Village; and towards
the west generally by the Mania Road, Section No. 34
(Forest Reserve), the Tawai Road, and Section No. 1, Block
VII. aforesaid: as the same is delineated on the plan
marked S.G. 26308, deposited in the Head Office of the
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the
Land District of Wellington.
