LOCAL RARES—continued.

Good for Christchurch, Ounodin, and Invercargill.

When goods of Classes A, B, C, D, and E are consigned to Christchurch, Dune-
din, and Invercargill, the classifed rates will be increased as follows:—

To Christchurch by ... ... ... ... 1 0 per ton.
To Ounodin by ... ... ... ... 1 1 ,,,
To Invercargill by ... ... ... ... 1 3 ,,,

But such increase will not be made when goods are consigned to private sidings
at those statious; or, in the case of Ounodin, when they are consigned to the Ral-
way Wharf for shioment in vossels liying there; or, in the case of Invercargill,
when they are consigned to the Jotty.

When goods of Class H are consigned to Ounodin the classifed rates will be
incroased by 5\frac{1}{2}d. per bale. Such increase will not be made when goods are con-
sigued to private sidings, or to the Railway Wharf for shioment.

From statious between Ealing and Debora, iuclusive, and from statious on the
Albary, Waimate, Duntroon, Nogapara, and Livingston branohes, classifed rates up
to 71 miles iuclusive, and $\frac{1}{4}d$. per bale per mile for each additional mile when not
otherwise specified.

To Timara—
From statious on the main line, within 25 miles distance, 1s. per bale for
distances up to and including 14 miles, and 1$\frac{1}{4}d$. per bale for each ad-
ditional mile. Scoured wool, in bales not excoeding 2$\frac{1}{4}cwt$. each, from
Wincbester and Otaio, will also be charged in aocordance with this regula-
tion, notwithstandiug regalation under Part III.

From Waimate, and statious on the Waimate District Railway, 4d. per bale less
than the classifed rates.

To Oamaru or Breakwater—
From Waimate, and statious on the Waimate District Railway, 4d. per bale less
than the classifed rates.

From Haktaramea and Kuro, 6d. per bale less than the classifed rates.

From Hiles, Duntroon, and intermcdiate statious, 4d. per bale less than the
classifed rates.

To Ounodin or Port Chalmers—
From Ounback, 4d. per bale less than the classifed rates.

From Hyde, 6d. per bale less than the classifed rates.
