A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, David, Earl of Glasgow, Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, with the consent of the tenant of the land hereinafter mentioned, and with the consent of the Weber Road Board, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as a road the land, being a portion of Section 4, Block III., Weber Survey District, mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Wellington-Napier Railway to take further land near Featherston, in Waiohine Survey District, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is taken for the purposes above mentioned.
