NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT WATER-RACE.
Hauraki Mining District, 16th May, 1896.
To the Warden at Paeroa.
WE hereby give notice that we intend to construct
a water-race to divert and use water for domestic
purposes, commencing at a point at a proposed dam on the
Tarariki Creek about a mile above the main road, and ter-
minating at the Railway-station, Paeroa.
The length of such race is two miles and a half or there-
abouts, and its intended course is westerly. The water will
be conveyed in underground pipes, and it is proposed to
divert twenty Government heads of water.
Cost of construction: £4,000.
Time required for construction: Twelve months.
Number and date of miner's right: No. 11962; 16th May,
1896.

THE WAIHI MONUMENT GOLD-MINING COM-
PANY (NO LIABILITY).
NOTICE OF INCREASE OF CAPITAL.
I, the undersigned Manager, hereby give notice that an
increase in the capital of the above-named company
was, on the 5th day of May, 1896, resolved on.
The mode adopted for the increase is by issuing twenty
thousand (20,000) new shares of five shillings each, in addi-
tion to the eighty thousand (80,000) shares now existing in
the company.
