Trustees for the Maintenance of the Pareora Cemetery
appointed.
GLASGOW, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the sixth section of "The Cemeteries
Act, 1882," I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several
persons whose names are specified in the first column of the
Schedule hereto to be Trustees to provide for the main-
tenance and care of the cemetery specified in the second
column of the said Schedule.

perches, more or less, situate in
Block IV., Otaio Survey District,
commencing at a point on the
southern side of the road which
forms the northern boundary of
Section No. 9698, the said point
being distant 1144.7 links in an
easterly direction along the said
road from the westernmost corner
of Section No. 9699; thence south-
erly at a right angle, 137 links;
then easterly at a right angle, 150
links; thence southerly at a right
angle, 30 links; thence westerly
at a right angle, and parallel to the
said road, 311.7 links; and from
thence returning north-easterly to
the commencing-point.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-eighth day of April, one thousand
eight hundred and ninety-six.

Appointing Trustees for the Levin Public Cemetery.
GLASGOW, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by "The Cemeteries Act, 1882," and of
all powers and authorities enabling me in that behalf, I,
David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand, do hereby appoint the Council of the County of
Horowhenua to be trustees of the cemetery known as the
Levin Cemetery, as the same is described in the Schedule
hereto, and to have the control and management of the said
cemetery accordingly.
SCHEDULE.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Wellington,
containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being
Rural Section No. 29, Block I., Waiopohu Survey District.
Bounded on the north-east by Section No. 28; on the south-
east by Section No. 10 Suburban, Township of Levin; on
the south-west by Makomako Road; and on the north-west
by Tirotiro Road: as the same is delineated on the plan
deposited in the District Lands and Survey Office, Wel-
lington.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-eighth day of April, one thousand
eight hundred and ninety-six.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the thirty-sixth section of "The
Alcoholic Liquors Sale Control Act Amendment Act, 1895,"
I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of
New Zealand, do hereby appoint
ALEXANDER RAMSAY CARNIE, Auckland;
THOMAS HOPPER HUSTWICK, Wellington;
ALEXANDER AUGUSTUS BICKERTON, Christchurch; and
BERNARD CRACROFT ASTON, Dunedin,
to be special Inspectors for the purpose of preventing and
detecting violations of the Licensing Act and the sale of
adulterated liquor. Each such appointment to take effect
upon and after the 1st day of May, 1896.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this thirtieth day of April, one thousand eight
hundred and ninety-six.
