A PPLICATION having been made to me to register a
certain dealing affecting Memorandum of Mortgage
No. 30774, CHARLES WILLIAM EICHBAUM to
ADELAIDE THERESA EICHBAUM, and a statutory
declaration of the destruction of the original of the said
Mortgage having been lodged with me, I hereby give notice
that I will dispense with the production of the said Mort-
gage, and register such dealing at the expiration of fourteen
days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.
Dated at the Lands Registry Office, Christchurch, the
4th day of January, 1896.

In the matter of the Ocean Beach Refrigerating Company
(Limited); and in the matter of "The Companies Act,
1882," and its amendments.
I, FREDERICK GEORGE MORGAN, Registrar of
the Supreme Court for the District of Southland, do
hereby notify that an affidavit, a copy of which is hereunder
given, by George James Parker, Secretary of the Ocean
Beach Refrigerating Company (Limited), has been lodged
in the Resident Magistrate's Court at Invercargill, and for-
warded to me, and that unless notice of objection be lodged
with me within sixty days of this date I shall proceed to
declare the said company to be dissolved in manner provided
by "The Companies Act, 1882."

I, GEORGE JAMES PARKER, of the Bluff, in the Provincial
District of Otago and Colony of New Zealand, Secretary of
the Ocean Beach Refrigerating Company (Limited), incor-
porated under "The Companies Act, 1882," do hereby make
oath and say,--

  1. That the nominal capital of the said company is £50,000,
    divided into 10,000 shares of £5 each.
  2. That the shares have been fully paid up.
  3. That the company has no assets, and has ceased to carry
    on its operations.
    And I, the said George James Parker, as such Secretary,
    do hereby apply for declaration of dissolution of such com-
    pany.

NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTING A RACE OVER PRIVATE LAND.
TAKE notice, I have applied for, under section 105 of
"The Mining Act, 1891," to construct a water-race for
domestic purposes, commencing on Section 10, Block V.,
Cromwell Survey District, in Lowburn Creek; also running
through Section 10, Block V., Cromwell Survey District,
and terminating at my residence. Length of race, one mile;
width, 1ft. 6in.; depth, 1ft.; diverting one-eighth of a head
of water.

in the above matter, dated the 17th day of December,
1895, on the petition of David Stranaghan, of Christchurch,
Financial Agent, it was ordered that the said The Sun
Newspaper Printing Company (Limited) be wound up by
this Court under the provisions of "The Companies Act,
1882."

CANTERBURY DISTRICT.

In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1882"; and in
the matter of the Sun Newspaper Printing Company
(Limited), a company incorporated under the provisions
of the above Act, having its registered office situated at
Christchurch, in the above-named district.
HIS Honour Mr. Justice Denniston has, by an order
dated the nineteenth day of December, 1895, ap-
pointed George William Hulme, of Hereford Street, Christ-
church, Accountant, to be the Official Liquidator of the
above-named company.
The creditors of the above-named company are required,
on or before the twentieth day of January, 1896, to send
their names and addresses, and the particulars of their
debts or claims, and the names and addresses of their
solicitors, if any, to the said George William Hulme, as such
Official Liquidator; and, if so required by notice in writing
from the said Official Liquidator, are, by their solicitors, to
come in and prove their said debts or claims at the Regis-
trar's Office, in the Supreme Court House, at Christchurch,
at such time as shall be specified in such notice, or in
default thereof they will be excluded from the benefit of any
distribution made before such debts are proved.
Friday, the 7th day of February, 1896, at 11 o'clock in the
forenoon, at the Registrar's said office, is appointed for
hearing and adjudicating upon the said debts and claims.

OTAGO AND SOUTHLAND DISTRICT.

In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1882," and its
amendments; and in the matter of The Colonial Bank of
New Zealand.
NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-
up of The Colonial Bank of New Zealand by the
Supreme Court was, on the 19th day of December, 1895,
presented to Mr. Justice Williams, a Judge of the Supreme
Court, by the said The Colonial Bank of New Zealand, whose
principal or head office is situate in the City of Dunedin, and
by George McLean, William Hunter Reynolds, William
Downie Stewart, Percival Clay Neill, William James Mudie
Larnach, and John Hislop, all of the City of Dunedin afore-
said, the directors of the said bank; and the said petition is
directed to be heard before a Judge of the said Court on the
fourth day of February, 1896. And any creditor or contri-
butory of the said The Colonial Bank of New Zealand desirous
to oppose the making of an order for the winding-up of the
said bank under the above Act should appear at the time of
hearing, by himself or his counsel, for that purpose. And a
copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or con-
tributory of the said bank requiring the same by the under-
signed, on payment of the regulated charge for the same.
Dated this twenty-first day of December, 1895.

OF REGISTRY.

Friendly Societies' Registry Office,
Wellington, 30th December, 1895.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly
Societies has, pursuant to section 10 of "The Friendly
Societies Act, 1882," by writing under his hand dated this
30th day of December, 1895, cancelled the registry of the
Court Queen of the Seas, Register No. 28 (12), held at New
Brighton, branch of the Canterbury United District of the
New Zealand Ancient Order of Foresters, on the ground
that the said branch has ceased to exist.

NOTICE.

THE Partnership hitherto existing between the under-
signed as Flaxmillers has this day been dissolved by
mutual consent. All liabilities due by the late firm will be
discharged by Mr. A. McKenzie, but the business will in
future be carried on by Mr. C. Tringham in his own name.
