depleted by the severitv of the winter, will be charged as follows:-
For distance of 65 miles and over: 20 per cent. less than the classifed rates; minimum, 10 truck. The charge for distance under 65 miles must not exceed the charge as for 65 miles.
For distance of 100 miles and over: For the first 100 miles, 40s. per truck for the first 13 truck; and for each additional truck, 24s. For each additional mile 2\frac{3}{4}d. per truck per mile will be charged. The charge for distance under 100 miles must not exceed the charge as for 100 miles.
A statutorv declaratton in the following form, signed by the consignor, must be attached to the consignment note:-
"I herebv certifv that trucks of sheen, consigned
by me from Statiou to Statiou, are bond fide
store sheen, not consigned for slaughter, and that they are
to replace sheen destroyed during the late winter on
Sheep-station, which is situatcd on Croun lands.\"
These rates will operate until 30th April, 1896.
Gooda for Chriatohuroh, Dunnedln, and Invercarglll.
When goods of Classes A, B, C, D, and E are consigned to Christchurch, Duncdln, and Invercarglll, the classifed rates will be increased as follows:-

To Duncdln by .. .. 1 2 ,
To Invercarglll by .. .. 1 3 ,
But such increase will not be made when goods are con- signed to private sidings at those statlons; or, in the case of Duncdln, when they are consigned to the Railway Wharf for shlpment in veseels lyin there; or, in the case of Inver- carglll, when they are consigned to the Jettv.
When goods of Class H are consigned to Duncdln the classifed rates will be increased by 5\frac{1}{2}d. per bale. Such increase will not be made when goods are consigned to private sidings, or to the Railway Wharf for shlpment.
