JOSEPH POLGLASE,
ROBERT CADE,
FRANCIS HELPS,
HENRY WAGSTAFF, and
CHARLES EDWARD BEETHAM
(hereinafter referred to as “ the Board ”), subject to the
stipulations hereinafter contained, that is to say,—
-
The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on
the second Wednesday in each month, at seven o'clock p.m.,
at Mangatainoka, or at such other time or place as may
from time to time be fixed by the Board. The first meeting
shall be held on Wednesday, the eighth day of January, one
thousand eight hundred and ninety-six. -
Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or
by any two members of the Board, provided that two days'
notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying
the business to be transacted at such special meeting; and
no other business than that so specified shall be transacted
at such meeting. -
Any three of the said Board shall form a quorum. Any
meeting may be adjourned from time to time. -
The members of the Board shall, at their first meeting,
and thereafter at an annual meeting to be held on the second
Wednesday in January in every succeeding year thereafter,
elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join in the
discussion, and shall have an original as well as a casting
vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the election of
his successor. -
If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the
time appointed for holding the same, the members present
shall choose some one of their number to be chairman of
such meeting. -
If, by resignation, death, or incapacity, or otherwise,
the office of Chairman shall be or become vacant, the mem-
bers may at any monthly or special meeting appoint a
Chairman. -
All questions shall be determined by the majority of
votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.
SCHEDULE.
All that piece or parcel of land, containing by admeasure-
ment 21 acres 3 roods 5 perches, more or less, being Section
No. 79, Block XVIII., Mangahao Survey District, in the
Wellington Land District. Bounded towards the north-east
by Sections Nos. 82 and 78, 1884 links; towards the south-
east by a public road, 1100 links; towards the south-west by
Sections Nos. 84 and 80, 2077 links; and towards the north-
west by a public road along the proper right bank of the
Mangatainoka River, 1117 links: be all the aforesaid link-
ages a little more or less.

“ The Public Domains Act, 1881.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day
of December, 1895.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
In exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities
vested in him by “ The Public Domains Act, 1881,”
His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
thereof, doth hereby revoke a certain Order in Council, dated
the sixteenth day of September, one thousand eight hun-
dred and ninety-five, making delegation of certain powers
in manner as therein appears; and doth, with the like
advice and consent, by this present Order, delegate, but only
with respect to the piece or parcel of land described in the
Schedule hereto, all the powers conferred by the Act afore-
said, except the powers under or conferred by sections five
and twelve thereof, to the under-mentioned persons, who
shall be known as the Mount Hobson Public Domain Board,
namely,—
JOSEPH LYSTON WILSON,
JAMES RUSSELL,
JAMES MARSHALL LENNOX,
ARCHIBALD CLARK, and
JAMES HARDIE
(hereinafter referred to as “ the Board ”), subject to the
stipulations hereinafter contained, that is to say,—

Brunswick Buildings, Queen Street, Auckland, or at such
other time or place as may from time to time be fixed by
the Board. The first meeting shall be held on Monday, the
sixth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and
ninety-six. -
Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or
by any two members of the Board, provided that two days'
notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying
the business to be transacted at such special meeting, and
no other business than that so specified shall be transacted
at such meeting. -

All that parcel of land known as the Mount Hobson Re-
serve, containing by admeasurement 23 acres 1 rood, more
or less, being Lot 2A, Section No. 11, Suburbs of the City of
Auckland. Bounded towards the north and north-east by a
road, 100 links wide, 956, 306, and 794 links; towards the
south-east and east by Lots Nos. 4, 5, and 6 of the said
section, 515, 277, 157, and 738 links; towards the south-west
by Lot No. 7 of the said section, 1009 links; and towards
the west by Lots Nos. 2 and 3 of the said section, 1300 and
522 links.

Awhitu Recreation-ground brought under “ The Public Domains
Act, 1881.”
GLASGOW, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day
of December, 1895.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
By virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by
the twenty-fourth section of “ The Public Reserves
Act, 1881,” I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby order
and declare that the reserve made for public recreation in
the Land District of Auckland, and known as the Awhitu
Recreation-ground, and described in the Schedule hereto,
shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation
of and declared to be subject to the provisions of “ The
Public Domains Act, 1881 ”; and such domain shall here-
after be managed, administered, and dealt with in manner
directed by the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland,
containing by admeasurement 8 acres 3 roods 30 perches,
more or less, being Section No. 58c in the Parish of Awhitu.
Bounded on the north by a road, 942 links; on the east by
a road, 490 and 397 links; on the south by the north-eastern
portion of Section No. 58, 1272 links; and on the west by
Section No. 58B, 738 links; all in the Parish of Awhitu: be
all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
