ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day
of December, 1895.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him
by "The Agricultural and Pastoral Statistics Act,
1895" (hereinafter termed "the said Act"), His Excellency
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting with
the consent of the Executive Council of the said colony,
doth hereby order and direct that the account described in
section two of the said Act shall be taken on the ninth day
of December, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five,
and continue to be taken from day to day until the sixteenth
day of January, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-six;
and doth hereby declare that this Order in Council shall
take effect on and after the ninth day of December, one
thousand eight hundred and ninety-five.

Native Land proposed to be taken for a Road in the Horo-
whenua County.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day
of December, 1895.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto
are required to be taken for a public work, to wit,
the construction of a road to the cemetery at Otaki, through
Block Nine, Waitohu Survey District :
And whereas the said lands are held or occupied by Native
owners under a title which is not derived from the Crown:
And whereas a map in duplicate has been prepared of the
said lands by the Horowhenua County Council, as required
by the eighty-eighth section of "The Public Works Act,
1894":
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
vested in him by the eighty-eighth section of the said Act,
and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this
behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said colony, doth hereby declare that the land
shown upon such map, and described in the Schedule hereto,
shall be deemed to be taken for the purpose of the said road,
and the said land shall vest in Her Majesty as from the fourth
of January, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-six.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities
vested in him by "The Public Domains Act, 1881," His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
thereof, doth hereby revoke a certain Order in Council,
dated the twenty-ninth day of October, one thousand eight
hundred and ninety-four, making delegation of certain powers
in manner as therein appears; and doth, with the like
advice and consent, by this present Order, delegate, but only
with respect to the piece or parcel of land described in the
Schedule hereto, all the powers conferred by the Act afore-
said, except the powers under or conferred by sections five
and twelve thereof, to the under-mentioned persons, who shall
be known as the Mangatainoka Domain Board, namely,—
