Land taken for a Road Deviation through Private Lands in
Puketoi Survey District, North Wairarapa County.

A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by
section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, David,
Earl of Glasgow, Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
with the consent of the owner of the lands hereinafter men-
tioned, and with the consent of the Wairarapa North County
Council, being the local authority in whose district the said
lands are situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as taken
for a road the lands in Puketoi Survey District hereinafter
described, that is to say:—

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is delineated on
the plan marked as above mentioned, deposited in the Head
Office of the Department of Lands and Survey, at Welling-
ton, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured
red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable David, Earl of Glasgow; Knight
Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of
Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and
Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's
Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies;
and issued under the Seal of the said Colony,
at the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-third day of October, in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five.

Declaring that an Education Reserve in Auckland shall be
leased under Part III. of “The Land Act, 1892,” subject
to the Provisions of Section 121 of the said Act.

A PROCLAMATION.

B Y virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in him by the two hundred and forty-third
section of “The Land Act, 1892,” and of every other power
and authority enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said colony, and at the request of the Council of the Auck-
land University, in whom the land herein described is
vested, doth hereby declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto, which has been reserved for educational
purposes, shall be leased, subject to the provisions of the one
hundred and twenty-first section of “The Land Act, 1892,”
and of Part III. of the said Act.

SCHEDULE.
WAIKATO COUNTY.
Parish of Taupiri.

All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, being
part of Section No. 463A of the Parish of Taupiri, containing
by admeasurement 646 acres 3 roods, more or less. Bounded
towards the north-east by a public road, 1942 links: towards
the south-east by a public road, 19693 links: towards the
south-west by a public road, 2896 links: towards the west by
a public road, 1443 links: and towards the north-west
generally by a public road, 435 and 1621 links; by Section
No. 321 of the Parish of Taupiri, 1837 links; by lines, 268,
563, 441, 687, 482, 270, 866, 918, 940, and 876 links; by a line,
and by Section No. 306 of the Parish of Taupiri, 1582 links;
by the abutment of a public road, 102 links; by Sections 4
and 5 of the same parish, 3278 links; by other portion of
Section 463A, 1435, 2495, 2865, and 1392 links; and by a line,
739 links, to the point of commencement: be all the afore-
said linkages more or less.

Lease in perpetuity; rental, 6d. per acre per annum.
