N OTICE is hereb y given that it is the inten tio n of the Ota m atea C ounty C ouncil, under the provisio ns of "The P ublic W orks A c t, 1894," to take land for a public road, 1 chain wide, through the following properties: v i z., Section 84, in the P arish of W airau, and Sections 28, 27, 25, north-east part of 24, south-west part of 24, north-west part of 23, 19, and 26, in the P arish of P ap aroa, and M atak ohe S urvey Distr ict.
A copy of the plan of the said proposed road is open for inspec tio n at the office of the Ota m atea C ounty C ouncil, situ ated at Maungatu roto. The works proposed to be ex e- cuted are clearing, form ing, br idging, and met alling.
All persons affected are hereb y called upon to set forth in writing any well-grou nded objec tio ns to the ex ecu tio n of such works or to the taking of such land, and to send such writing within forty days from the first publicatio n of this notice to the office of the Ota m atea C ounty C ouncil, at Maungatu roto.
