mined by the Governor in Council without any notice to the
licensee or other proceeding whatsoever; and publication in
the New Zealand Gazette of an Order in Council containing
such revocation shall be sufficient notice to the licensee, and
to all persons concerned or interested, that this Order in
Council, and the rights and privileges thereby conferred,
have been revoked and determined; and upon such revoca-
tion the Minister may cause the said booms, and all other
erections or buildings thereto belonging, to be removed, and
may recover the cost incurred by any such removal from the
licensee.
- The erection of the booms shall be deemed to be an
acceptance by the licensee of the conditions of this Order in
Council.

eighth section of "The Justices of the Peace Act
Amendment Act, 1888," I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify
and declare that

receive statutory declarations under the two hundred and

The following is the result of poll on the proposals to borrow
£6,000 for construction of roads in the Ongo Riding of the
Kiwitea County :—
Number of ratepayers on roll, 70, representing 134 votes :
Votes recorded for the proposal, 93 ; number of ratepayers
voting, 48 ; votes against, 1.
As a majority in number of the ratepayers voted in favour
of the proposal, and the number so voting are entitled to more
than one-half of the votes that can be exercised by the whole
number of ratepayers, I hereby declare the proposals to be
carried.

MANAWATU ROAD BOARD.
Result of poll taken on the 14th day of August, 1895, on the
proposal to borrow £115 under "The Government Loans to
Local Bodies Act, 1886," and "The Local Bodies' Loans Act,
1886," and amendments thereof, to clear, form, and metal
the Kelvin Grove Road from James's Line to the Stoney
Creek—Bunnythorpe Road :—
Number of ratepayers on special roll, 15, representing 15
votes: 10 ratepayers, representing 10 votes, voted in favour
of the proposal; 4 ratepayers, representing 4 votes, did not
vote, and 1 vote was informal.
I therefore declare the proposal to be carried.

NOTICE to Mariners, No. 21, of the 27th June last, is
cancelled, and this notice is substituted therefor.
Hapuka Shoal, in Croiselles Harbour, is in latitude
41° 3' 50" S., and longitude 173° 38' 35" E. It is three-
quarters of a cable's length in extent, and has 4½ fathoms of
water on the shallowest part of it at low-water spring-tides,
with deep water all round.
