Proclaiming a Road as closed through Private Lands in the
Wairoa Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

I
N pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by
section thirteen of "The Land Act, 1892," I, David,
Earl of Glasgow, Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do by this notice hereby proclaim as closed the roads in the
Okotuku Road District hereinafter described, that is to say,
all those parcels of land in the Wellington Land District
contained in the following Schedule.

more particularly delineated on the plan marked 99/27P,
deposited in the District Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, in the Land District of Wellington,
and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable David, Earl of Glasgow; Knight
Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of
Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and
Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's
Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies;
and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at
the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-first day of August, in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five.

do by this notice hereby proclaim as closed the road in the
Waipawa Survey District mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

A PROCLAMATION.

W
HEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto
are required to be taken under "The Public Works
Act, 1894" (hereinafter termed "the said Act"), for the
Thames Water-race, a public work already constructed, the
said lands not having been taken in the manner required
by law :

And whereas the said water-race, together with all land,
streams, buildings, and works belonging thereto or connected
therewith, and all rights and privileges appurtenant or be-
longing thereto, was, with certain exceptions, vested in the
Thames County Council by "The Thames Water-supply
Transfer Act, 1880" :
