Polling-places appointed, City of Auckland Electoral District.
GLASGOW, Governor.
IN pursuance of the powers vested in me by “The Electoral Act, 1893,” I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing polling-places for the Electoral District of City of Auckland, and do hereby appoint the under-mentioned places to be polling-places for the said electoral district:—
The Drill-shed, Rutland Street, Auckland (principal).
St. James’s Hall, Wellington Street, Auckland.
St. George’s Hall, Great North Road, Newton.
St. Sepulchre’s Schoolroom, Symonds Street, Auckland.
Ponsonby Hall, Jervois Road, Ponsonby.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this fourth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five.

Appointing Legal Landing-place at the Port of Auckland.

IN exercise of the powers in me for this purpose vested by “The Customs Laws Consolidation Act, 1882,” I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint that, from and after the date hereof, the wharf known as
THE HOBSON STREET WHARF,
as the same is shown on the plan marked M.D. 1176, deposited in the office of the Marine Department, Wellington, shall be deemed and taken to be a legal landing-place at the Port of Auckland for the lading and unlading of goods under “The Customs Laws Consolidation Act, 1882.”
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this sixth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five.

THE following notice, received from the Chairman of the Waitotara County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1886.”

WAITOTARA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Result of the poll taken on Wednesday, 3rd July, 1895, on the proposal to raise a loan of £1,400, under “The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,” for the construction of eight miles of the Rangitatau East Road :—
Number of ratepayers on roll, 2 ; number of votes exercisable, 9 ; Number of ratepayers who voted in favour of loan, 2 ; number of votes given in favour of loan, 9 ; against, nil.
As a majority of the ratepayers, exercising a majority of the votes on the special roll, voted in favour of the loan, I therefore declare the proposal carried.
