"The Public Trust Office Consolidation Act, 1894."

NOTICE is hereby given that, no person having taken out
administration, the Public Trustee has filed in the
office of the Supreme Court at Wellington an election to ad-
minister the several intestate estates of the persons deceased
whose names, residences, and occupations, so far as known,
are hereunder respectively set forth, their gross properties
being estimated not to exceed £250 in each case.

Francis Dennis Bullen, late of Tauranga, in the Provincial
District of Auckland, surgeon. Filed on the 25th day of
June, 1895.

John Lynch, late of Wellington, in the Provincial District
of Wellington, barman. Filed on the 25th day of June,
1895.

Thomas Myers, late of Wellington, in the Provincial Dis-
trict of Wellington, dealer. Filed on the 25th day of June,
1895.

Examination of Battery Superintendents.

Mines Department,
Wellington, 29th June, 1895.

AN examination of candidates for certificates as Battery
Superintendents under "The Mining Act 1891 Amend-
ment Act, 1894," will be held on Thursday, the 15th August,
1895, and following day, at places to be hereafter named.
All applications, with necessary certificates, and fee of £1,
must be addressed to "The Secretary of the Board of Ex-
aminers under the Mining Act, Wellington," and must be
received before the 31st July, 1895, or they will not be dealt
with until the following examination.

Crown Lands Notices.

NOTICE is hereby given that leases of the under-men-
tioned Crown lands will be submitted to public
auction, at the Lands and Survey Office, New Plymouth, on
Wednesday, the 14th August, 1895, at 12 o'clock noon.

Term of lease, seven years. Lessee to cut gorse during first
year of lease, and keep it cut during the term. Lessee is
given right to remove fencing erected by him, at the end of
the term.

Conditions of Sale.

One half-year's rent and lease-fee of £1 1s. to be paid on
the fall of the hammer, and lease to be executed within
thirty days of lessee being called upon to do so, otherwise
the deposit of half-year's rent and lease-fee to be absolutely
forfeited, and the sale to be null and void.

Lease on Application.

NOTICE is hereby given that the under-mentioned small
grazing-run will be open for lease on application on
and after Wednesday, the 28th day of August, 1895, at the
rental noted. In the event of more than one application
being received on the same day, the right of selection will be
decided by ballot on the following day at 11 a.m.

Whakatane County, Waimana Parish (part of University
College Endowment): Run No. 3, containing 1,777 acres;
annual rent, £22 4s. 4d. Term of lease, twenty-one years.
About two-thirds heavy forest, tawa, &c., balance fern and
tupaki. Situated near Whakatane Township.

Pastoral Lands in Otago Land District for Lease by Public
Auction.

Crown Lands Office,
Dunedin, 27th May, 1895.

NOTICE is hereby given that a yearly license, from the
1st July, 1895, to occupy for pastoral purposes, under
section 116 of "The Land Act, 1892," Section 10, Block XV.,
Maniototo District, will be offered at auction on the 10th
July, 1895. Area, 419 acres 2 roods 16 perches; upset
annual rental, £31 10s.

The purchaser will be required to deposit the year's rent
and license-fee (£1 1s.) on fall of hammer.

Possession will be given on day of sale.
