Vesting a Reserve in the Ashburton County Council.

GLASGOW, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
ninth day of April, 1895.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE THE PREMIER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
was permanently reserved for a gravel-pit on the
fourteenth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and
ninety-five :

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expe-
dient that the said land should be vested in the Ashburton
County Council :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise
of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth
section of "The Public Reserves Act, 1881," doth hereby
declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the
reserve mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall become
vested in "The Chairman, Councillors, and inhabitants of
the Ashburton County," in trust, for a gravel-pit.

SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Canterbury,
containing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being
Section No. 3056 in red, formerly part of Rural Section 20357,
Block VIII., Alford Survey District. Bounded on the north-
west by a road-line, 500 links; on the north-east by Section
No. 17407, 400 links; on the south-east by Section No. 20357,
500 links; and on the south-west by said Section No. 20357,
400 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the
same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the
Chief Surveyor, Christchurch.

Vesting a Reserve in the Whangarei County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
ninth day of April, 1895.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE THE PREMIER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
was permanently reserved for a public landing-place
on the fourth day of March, one thousand eight hundred
and ninety-five :

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expe-
dient to vest the said land in the Whangarei County
Council :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise
of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth
section of "The Public Reserves Act, 1881," doth hereby
declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the
reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested
in "The Chairman, Councillors, and inhabitants of the
Whangarei County," in trust, for a public landing-place.

SCHEDULE.

All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District,
being Section No. 139 of the Parish of Maungakaramea,
containing by admeasurement 3 acres 2 roods, more or less.
Bounded towards the north-east by the Waikaurakaura
Creek; towards the south-east generally by the Mangapai
River; towards the south-west by Sections Nos. 138 and 137
of the Parish of Maungakaramea, 798 links; and towards
the north-west generally by a public road, 548 and 100 links,
and by the Waikaurakaura Creek to the point of commence-
ment: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

Vesting Reserves in the Selwyn County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
ninth day of April, 1895.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE THE PREMIER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto
were reserved permanently for plantation purposes
on the fourteenth day of March, one thousand eight hundred
and ninety-five :

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expe-
dient to vest the said lands in the Selwyn County Council :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise
of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth
section of "The Public Reserves Act, 1881," doth hereby
declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the
reserves mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall become
vested in "The Chairman, Councillors, and inhabitants of
the Selwyn County," in trust, for plantation purposes.

SCHEDULE.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Canterbury,
containing by admeasurement 170 acres 2 roods 19 perches,
more or less, being Reserve No. 3050 in red, situated in
Blocks I., II., VI., and VII., Selwyn Survey District, being a
strip of land 3 chains wide extending in a north-westerly
direction from the north-eastern side of the road forming the
south-eastern boundary of Section No. 29307, and between
Reserves Nos. 1766, 1765, 1834, and 1763, to the south-eastern
side of the road which forms the north-western boundary of
Section No. 32159: save and except all roads intersecting
the same.

Also all that parcel of land, containing by admeasurement
205 acres 3 roods 34 perches, more or less, being Reserve
No. 3051 in red, situated in Blocks XV. and XVI., Hora-
rata, IV., Hall, and I., II., and VI., Selwyn Survey Dis-
tricts, being a strip of land 3 chains wide extending in a
north-westerly direction from the south-western side of
Reserve No. 3050 at its junction with the road forming the
eastern boundary of Section No. 32060, and between Re-
serves Nos. 1764 and 1765, to the south-eastern side of the
road which forms the north-western boundary of Section
No. 32925: save and except all roads intersecting the same.

Also all that parcel of land, containing by admeasurement
27 acres 2 roods 24 perches, more or less, being Reserve
No. 3052 in red, situated in Blocks VII. and XI., Selwyn
Survey District, being a strip of land 3 chains wide extending
in a north-westerly direction from the north-western side of
the road forming the south-eastern boundary of Section
No. 29307, and between Reserves Nos. 1765 and 1766, to its
junction with Reserve No. 3050.

pastoral society's showgrounds on the fourth day of March,
one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five :

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expe-
dient to vest the said land in the Tauranga Farmers' Club
and Acclimatisation Society :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in
exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the
fourth section of "The Public Reserves Act, 1881," doth
hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date
hereof, the reserve mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall
become vested in "The Tauranga Farmers' Club and Acli-
ma tisation Society," in trust, for showgrounds.

SCHEDULE.
