A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred by the one hundred and sixty-second section of "The Land Act, 1892," and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the block of land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for special settlement: subject, however, to the provisions of section 121 of "The Land Act, 1892."
SCHEDULE.
Ross Special Settlement Association.
All that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 1,912 acres, more or less, situated in Ngati-maru Survey District, comprising Sections Nos. 12, 13, 14, and 15 of Block III., and Sections Nos. 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9 of Block IV., all of said district: as the same is delineated upon the plan marked S.G. 18691, deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of "The Land Act, 1892," I, David, Earl of Glasgow, Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do by this notice hereby proclaim as opened the road, and as taken the land, in the Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District hereinafter described, that is to say:—
All that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 4·3 perches, being part of Section No. 1, Block XIV., Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 125, Green Island Bush Survey District; towards the south-east by a public road, 50 links; and towards the south-west by a line parallel to the north-east boundary of the said Section No. 125: as the said area is particularly delineated upon the plan marked S.G. 22673, deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken, under "The Public Works Act, 1894," for a certain work, to wit, the construction of a portion of a road in the Mount Cerberus Survey District known as the Mangatoro Valley Road:
And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister has recommended the Governor to issue a Proclamation taking the land as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by "The Public Works Act, 1894," and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are hereby taken for the purposes of the construction of the said road.

Vesting Control of Lower Waiaru Bridge in Amuri County Council.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and fourteen of "The Public Works Act, 1894" (hereinafter termed "the said Act"), it is, inter alia, enacted that the Governor may, upon the terms and conditions in the said section mentioned, by Proclamation publicly notified, direct that any bridge already constructed, or which may hereafter be constructed, over or across any river or arm of the sea respectively, shall, from and after a date to be fixed in such Proclamation, be under the exclusive care, control, and management of such local authority as shall be mentioned in that behalf in such Proclamation; and may, by any such Proclamation as aforesaid, fix and determine whether all or any, and, if so, what, part of the cost, whether theretofore incurred or thereafter to be incurred, of maintaining, repairing, improving, or reconstructing any such bridge is to be provided and paid by the local authority or local authorities, and, if so, by what local authority or authorities; and may, by any such Proclamation as aforesaid, direct how, when, and to whom any such payment is to be made:
And whereas it is expedient that provision should be made under the hereinbefore in part recited Act for the purposes hereinafter mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by the said Act, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby direct that the bridge mentioned in the Schedule hereto, and known as the Lower Waiaru Bridge, shall, from and after the date of this Proclamation, be under the exclusive care, control, and management of the Amuri County Council; and, in further
