THE following special orders, made by the Mauku Road Board, are published in accordance with the provisions of "The Road Boards Act, 1882."

MAUKU ROAD BOARD.

Special orders made by the Mauku Road Board at a special meeting held on the 15th day of February, 1895:—

"That, for the purpose of paying interest and other annual charges on a loan of £500, to be raised under 'The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,' for the purpose of making certain portions of the Patumahoe-Pukekohe Road, a special rate of ½d. in the pound be made and levied on all the rateable property in the Patumahoe Ward, Crown and Native lands (if any) excepted; such special rate to be an annually-recurring rate for a period of twenty-six years, and payable in one sum on the 1st of September in each year."

"That, for the purpose of paying interest and other charges on a loan of £500, to be raised under 'The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,' for the purpose of making portions of the Union Road and certain portions of the road from Cox's Corner to West Mauku Creamery, a special rate of 1/10d. in the pound be made and levied on all the rateable property in the West Mauku Ward, Crown and Native lands (if any) excepted; such special rate to be an annually-recurring rate for a period of twenty-six years, and payable in one sum on the 1st of September in each year."

I hereby certify that the above special orders were made by the Mauku Road Board to-day, in accordance with the provisions of "The Road Boards Act, 1882."
