(hereinafter referred to as “the Board”), subject to the
stipulations hereinafter contained, that is to say,--
- The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on
the third Thursday in each month, at half-past seven
o’clock p.m., at Waipuku, or at such other time or place
as may from time to time be fixed by the Board. The
first meeting shall be held on Thursday, the twenty-first
day of February, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-
five. - Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or
by any two members of the Board, provided that two days’
notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying
the business to be transacted at such special meeting; and
no other business than that so specified shall be transacted
at such meeting. - Any three of the said Board shall form a quorum. Any
meeting may be adjourned from time to time. - The members of the Board shall, at their first meeting,
and thereafter at an annual meeting to be held on the third
Thursday in January in every succeeding year thereafter,
elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join in the
discussion, and shall have an original as well as a casting
vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the election of
his successor. - If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the
time appointed for holding the same, the members present
shall choose some one of their number to be chairman of
such meeting. - If, by resignation, death, or incapacity, or otherwise,
the office of Chairman shall be or become vacant, the mem-
bers may at any monthly or special meeting appoint a
Chairman. - All questions shall be determined by the majority of
votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.

under “The Public Domains Act, 1881.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-first
day of December, 1894.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities
vested in him by “The Public Domains Act, 1881,”
His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
thereof, doth hereby revoke a certain Order in Council, dated
the twelfth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and
ninety-two, delegating certain powers in manner as therein
appears; and doth, with the like advice and consent, by
this present Order, delegate, but only with respect to the
piece or parcel of land described in the Schedule hereto,
all the powers conferred by the Act aforesaid, except the
powers under or conferred by sections five and twelve
thereof, to the under-mentioned persons, who shall be
known as Te Ngutu-o-te-Manu Public Domain Board,
namely,--
The CHAIRMAN of the HAWERA COUNTY COUNCIL,
GEORGE FRANCIS ROBINSON,
HENRY COOK,
GEORGE HENRY MAUNDER, and
WILLIAM LAVERS LUSCOMBE
(hereinafter referred to as “the Board”), subject to the
stipulations hereinafter contained, that is to say,--
-

at Manai'a, or at such other time or place as may from
time to time be fixed by the Board. The first meeting shall
be held on Thursday, the fourteenth day of February, one
thousand eight hundred and ninety-five. -
Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or
by any two members of the Board, provided that two days’
notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying
the business to be transacted at such special meeting, and
no other business than that so specified shall be transacted
at such meeting. -

SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Land District of Taranaki,
being Section No. 40 of Block XVI., Kaupokonui, containing
by admeasurement 50 acres, more or less. Bounded towards
the north by Section No. 39 of the said block; towards the
east by Section No. 41; towards the south by Section No. 47;
and towards the south-west by Ahipaipa Road.

Increasing the Area that may be held by Settlers in Home-
view and Domett Villages.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-first
day of December, 1894.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by an Order in Council issued on the ninth
day of October, one thousand eight hundred and
ninety-three, under the authority of section one hundred
and sixty-nine of “The Land Act, 1892,” fixing the terms
and conditions upon which certain village settlement lands
therein enumerated should be disposed of, it was provided
by clause twenty-one that no lessee shall hold more than
one allotment:
And whereas it is expedient to allow lessees in the Home-
view Village to extend their holdings by taking up additional
allotments to a total area not exceeding twenty acres, and
settlers in the Domett Village to a total area not exceeding
one hundred acres:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor, in pursuance
of all powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf,
and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the Colony of New Zealand, doth hereby amend
the Order in Council aforesaid so far as it affects the areas in
which the lands in the Homeview and Domett Village
Settlements shall be held, and doth declare that on and
after the day of the date hereof any settler in the Homeview
Village Settlement aforesaid may apply for and acquire
more than one allotment, provided that the total area does
not exceed twenty acres; and also, that any settler in the
Domett Village Settlement aforesaid may apply for and
acquire more than one allotment, provided that the total
area does not exceed one hundred acres. And it is hereby
further declared that all the provisions of the Order in
Council of the ninth day of October, one thousand eight
hundred and ninety-three, shall apply, except as regards the
area in which the sections may be held, to the Homeview
and Domett Village Settlements.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-first
day of December, 1894.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto
were permanently reserved for a water-supply for
the Borough of Queenstown on the second day of March,
one thousand eight hundred and ninety-four:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expe-
dient that the said lands should be vested in the Queenstown
Borough Council:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in
him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act,
