Land Classification Commissioners appointed.

GLASGOW, Governor.

IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the one hundred and eighty-ninth section of "The Land Act, 1892," I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint—

GEORGE WATKIN WILLIAMS, Chief Surveyor and Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Land District of Southland,

JOHN McINTYRE, and

ANDREW KINROSS,

Commissioners to classify and report to me upon the rural lands in the Land District of Southland known as Run Number Six, and Sections 34 and 35, Block I., Wendon District, as provided by section one hundred and eighty-nine of "The Land Act, 1892," aforesaid.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this seventeenth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-four.

MANAWATU ROAD BOARD.—SPECIAL ORDER.

Notice is hereby given that the Manawatu Road Board did, at the regular meeting held on Tuesday, 13th November, 1894, make the following special order:—

"That it is the intention of the Manawatu Road Board, under the provisions of 'The Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,' and by virtue of a warrant issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, dated the 30th day of April, 1892, authorising the maintaining, repairing, improving, or reconstructing the Awahuri Bridge, to borrow the sum of £1,669 for the purpose of providing 37½ per cent. of the cost of reconstructing the Awahuri Bridge, and all other works necessary for the due completion of the reconstruction of the said bridge, in accordance with the above-mentioned warrant; and that a special rate of 1/4d. in the pound be made upon the rateable value of the whole of the rateable property (Crown and Native lands occupied by
