Removal of Restrictions on Alienation of Native Land.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twelfth day of November, 1894.

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS application has been made to the Governor in Council by Moihi Hatua and Ngarama Hatua, the Native owners of the land described in the second column of the Schedule hereto, praying that the restrictions on the alienation of such land contained in the Land Transfer certificate bearing date the third day of March, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two, described in the first column of the said Schedule, may be removed: And whereas inquiry has been duly made by the Native Land Court, and the said Court has reported that the provisions of the law in that behalf have been complied with: And whereas it appears expedient to grant such application:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by “The Native Land Act, 1888,” and acting with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that all restrictions imposed by the said Land Transfer certificate n the alienation of the said land are hereby removed.

Notifying Lands in Southland for Sale by Public Auction.
GLASGOW, Governor.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one hundred and thirteenth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Wednesday, the thirtieth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five, as the time at which the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction, and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto opposite the description of such lands respectively.

WHEREAS by “The Native Land Court Act, 1894” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that there shall be within the colony a Court of Record called “The Native Appellate Court,” which shall consist of the Chief Judge and such other Judges of the Native Land Court as the Governor may from time to time appoint: And whereas it appears expedient to make the appointments hereinafter mentioned:
