Leases of Town Lands for Sale, Nelson Land District.

NOTICE is hereby given that the leases of the town
lands enumerated in the First Schedule hereto will
be submitted to public auction, by the Warden, at the
Courthouse, at Westport, on Wednesday, 14th February,
1894, at 12 o'clock noon, on the terms and conditions
specified in the Second Schedule hereto, a synopsis of the
terms of the leases to be entered into by each purchaser
being given in the Third Schedule hereto.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

Conditions of Sale.

  1. The highest bidder shall be the purchaser of the lease,
    and the amount bid shall be the annual rental thereof.

  2. The bidding shall be an increase on the upset rental,
    and shall advance at the rate of not less that ten per cent.

  3. The purchaser shall forthwith deposit the sum of
    £1 10s. for the cost of survey and preparation of the lease,
    and also the first year's rent, being the amount of his bid.

  4. Should the purchaser of the lease fail to comply with
    the third condition hereof, or should any dispute arise, the
    lease shall be put up again and resold.

  5. The lease shall be executed by the purchaser within
    thirty days from the date of notice that it is ready for execu-
