BOROUGH OF GREYTOWN.

In the matter of "The Public Works Act, 1882," and of the
proposed widening of East Street, Church Street, College
Street (sometimes called Papawai Road), Great Frederick
Street, Wakelin Street, and the street bounding the said
borough on the north.

NOTICE is hereby given that a copy plan showing
generally the manner in which it is proposed to widen
the above-mentioned streets, and the lands required to be
taken for the purpose of widening the same, together with
the names of the owners and occupiers of such lands, has
been deposited at the Town Clerk's Office, in the Borough
Council Chambers, Greytown, and is there open for inspection
by all persons at all reasonable hours.

It is proposed to widen the above-mentioned streets in
manner following, that is to say:—

  1. East Street by 25 links on the eastern side, from the
    borough boundary on the north to Wakelin Street on the
    south.

  2. Church Street by 15·1 links on the southern side, from
    Main Street to East Street.

  3. Great Frederick Street by 13·5 links on each side, from
    East Street to Belgrave Street.

  4. College Street by 25 links on the northern side, from
    Main Street to the eastern boundary-line of Town Belt
    Section No. 50.

  5. Wakelin Street by 25 links on the northern side, from
    Main Street to East Street.

  6. The street bounding the borough on the north by 25
    links, from Main Street to the line of the proposed eastern
    boundary of East Street.

The lands required to be taken for widening the said streets
as aforesaid are as follows:—

  1. A strip of land 25 links wide along the western bound-
    aries of, and being parts of, Town Belt Sections Nos. 6 to
    60 inclusive, and the Hospital Reserve.

  2. A strip of land 15·1 links wide along the northern
    boundary of, and being part of, Town Section No. 61.

  3. Two strips of land each 13·5 links wide along the
    southern and northern boundaries of, and being parts of,
    Town Belt Sections Nos. 20 and 21 respectively.

  4. A strip of land 25 links wide along the southern bound-
    aries of, and being parts of, Town Belt Section No. 50 and
    Town Section No. 89.

  5. A strip of land 25 links wide along the southern bound-
    ary of, and being part of, Town Section No. 109.

  6. A strip of land 25 links wide along the southern bound-
    aries of, and being parts of, Town Section No. 112 and
    Town Belt Section No. 5.

All persons affected by the proposed widening of the above-
mentioned streets are hereby called upon to set forth in
writing any well-founded objections that they may have to
the widening of the said streets or any of them, or to the
taking of the lands required for the same, and to send such
objections in writing to the Greytown Borough Council
within forty days from the first publication hereof.

PUBLIC NOTICE.

IN accordance with the provisions of "The Public Works
Act, 1882," it is hereby notified that the Waiuku Road
Board proposes to take the lands set forth in the Schedule
appended hereto for the purpose of excavating a drain
thereon. Plans of the lands proposed to be taken are
deposited at the Road Board Office, Waiuku, for public
inspection. All persons who object to the said lands being
taken, and the said works executed thereon, are called upon
to set forth in writing any objection thereto, and to send
such writing within forty days from the date hereof to the
Waiuku Road Board.

is now in voluntary liquidation, the reason for such
voluntary liquidation being that the said company has sold
its business to another company as and from the 1st day of
July, 1894.
