NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A ROAD.

In the matter of "The Public Works Act, 1882," and amend-
ments thereof; and in the matter of a certain piece of
land, being part of Section 20, Block III., Otago Peninsula
District.
NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of "The
Public Works Act, 1882," and the amendments
thereof, a copy of the plan showing the portion of Section 20,
Block III., Otago Peninsula District (owned and occupied
by John Brown, of Sandymount, in the Otago Peninsula
District), required by the Peninsula Road Board to be taken
for road purposes, is open for inspection at Highcliff Hall,
Highcliff, the office of the Peninsula Road Board. And it
is hereby further notified that all persons affected by such
proposed taking and works are hereby required to set forth
in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of
such works or to the taking of such lands, and to send such
writing within forty days from the first publication of this
notice to the Peninsula Road Board, whose office is the
Highcliff Hall, Highcliff.
