Trustees for Te Arai Cemetery appointed.

GLASGOW, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the sixth section of "The Cemeteries
Act, 1882," I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

HENRY SHEPHERD,
JOSEPH BENTON, and
GEORGE GEAR, Jun.,

to be Trustees, in the place of Charles Eyre, Denis Shannon,
and Charles Haselden, to provide for the maintenance and
care of the Te Arai Cemetery, in conjunction with the other
persons appointed by warrant under the hand of His Excel-
lency the Governor on the twenty-ninth day of March, one
thousand eight hundred and eighty-two.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-fourth day of July, one thousand eight
hundred and ninety-four.

Road Board, are published in accordance with the pro-
visions of "The Road Boards Act, 1882."

MANCHESTER ROAD BOARD.

THE following special order was made at a meeting of the
Manchester Road Board held on the 5th May, 1894, and
confirmed on the 4th June, 1894:—

"That the following special order be confirmed: 'That a
special rate of ½d. in the pound be made upon the rate-
able value of the whole of the rateable property (Crown and
Native lands occupied by Native owners excepted)
within the boundaries of No. 4 Subdivision of the Manchester
Road District, for the purpose of paying interest on a loan of
£1,130 to be borrowed under "The Government Loans to
Local Bodies Act, 1886"; such rate to be an annually-
recurring rate for twenty-six years, and payable in equal
instalments at the Board's office on the 1st day of April and
October in each year.'"

I hereby certify that the above special order has been duly
made in accordance with the provisions of "The Road
Boards Act, 1882."

Manchester Road Board held on the 5th May, 1894, and

Road Board, is published in accordance with the pro-
visions of "The Road Boards Act, 1882."

FEATHERSTON ROAD BOARD.

THE following resolution, by way of special order, was duly
passed at a meeting of the Featherston Road Board held on
Saturday, 2nd September, 1893, and confirmed on Saturday,
7th October, 1893, viz.:—

"That a special rate of ⅔d. in the pound be levied on the
rateable value of all properties appearing in the valuation
roll now in force for the Kahautara-Pukeo Special Rating
District, consisting of part of Ahaeratau, 300 acres; parts
Waiowitutu Nos. 2 and 3, 190½ acres; part Taupahara, 25
acres; Pukekatau, 107½ acres; part Te Awaawaroa No. 1,
331 acres; part Te Awaawaroa No. 2, 130 acres; part Potaka
No. 3, 124½ acres; Tapawaeharuru, 227 acres; Pukeo Nos.
4 and 5, 67 acres; Moroa, 149½ acres; Tawhara, 41 acres;
part Potaka No. 2, 400 acres; and part Potaka No. 1, 410
acres: such rate to be an annually-recurring rate for twenty-
six years from 1st August, 1893, payable in one sum on the
1st February, 1894, and each succeeding year, to secure the
repayment of interest and charges on a loan of £600, under
'The Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,' for the construction
of the Kahautara-Pukeo Road."

I hereby certify the foregoing special order, making
special rate to secure repayment of loan of £600 for Kahau-
tara-Pukeo Road, was duly passed, in accordance with "The
Road Boards Act, 1882," on the 7th October, 1893.

That the Riwaka Road Board adopts generally the provisions
of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1886," and "The Govern-
ment Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," with the amend-
ments thereto.

I, Horatio Everett, Clerk to the Riwaka Road Board, do
solemnly declare that the special order adopting the pro-
visions of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1886," was passed at
a special meeting of the Board, on the 7th July, 1894, and
that the said special order was advertised in accordance with
the provisions of "The Road Boards Act, 1882," sections
75 and 76.
