Lands taken for Roads in Upper Mahurangi Road District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken, under "The Public Works Act, 1882," and its amendments, for a certain work, to wit, the construction of roads in Upper Mahurangi Road District:
And whereas the Upper Mahurangi Road Board has laid before the Governor the memorial, accompanied by maps, and also the statutory declaration, required by the said Act and the amendments thereof:
Now, therefore, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by "The Public Works Act, 1882," and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are hereby taken for the purposes of the construction of the said roads.
SCHEDULE.
THE several parcels of land mentioned in list hereunder:

All in the Land District of Auckland; as the said parcels of land are more particularly delineated on the plans marked S.G. 16841, 16841B, and 16841C, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable David, Earl of Glasgow; Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under
the Seal of the said Colony, at Christchurch, this sixth day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-four.

New County of Kiwitea divided into Ridings, &c.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by "The Counties Act, 1886," and "The Kiwitea County Act, 1893," I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do heredy divide the new County of Kiwitea, as constituted by the said Acts, into seven ridings, to be called the Kimbolton Riding, the Oroua Riding, the Makino Riding, the Waituna Riding, the Ongo Riding, the Hautapu Riding, and the Apiti Riding, and declare that the boundaries thereof shall be those set forth under the names of the said ridings respectively in the Schedule hereto.
And I do hereby declare that one member shall be elected for each of the said ridings.
And I do further declare that Monday, the fifth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-four, shall be the day upon which the election of the first Council of the said County of Kiwitea shall take place; and that Saturday, the seventeenth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-four, at noon, shall be the time, and the Kiwitea Road Board Office, Feilding, shall be the place, at which the first meeting of the said Council shall be held.

RIDINGS OF KIWITEA COUNTY.
Kimbolton Riding.
BOUNDED towards the north by the northern boundary-lines of Sections Nos. 266, 265, and 264 of Kiwitea Block, Pohangina Survey District, and by the production of the northern boundary-line of the said Section No. 264 to the middle of the Oroua River; towards the south-east by a line along the middle of that river to a point in line with the south-western boundary-line of Section No. 232, Kiwitea Block aforesaid; thence towards the south-west by a road forming the south-western boundaries of the last-mentioned section and of Sections Nos. 233, 234, 235, and 277 of Kiwitea Block aforesaid; and towards the north-west by a road forming the north-western boundaries of the last-mentioned section and of Sections Nos. 276, 275, 274, 273, 272, 268, 267, and 266 of Kiwitea Block aforesaid.
Oroua Riding.
Bounded towards the north by the northern boundary-lines of Sections Nos. 189 and 190 of Kiwitea Block; thence
