Land Transfer Act Notices.

APPLICATION having been made to me for the issue of
a provisional perpetual lease for Lots 43, 44, and 45
of Reserve 350, Vol. 127, folio 275, of the Register-book,
whereof DONALD McLEOD is the lessee, and a statutory
declaration of the loss of the original lease having been
lodged, I hereby give notice that I will issue such provisional
perpetual lease, as requested, at the expiration of fourteen
days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

of a certain lease (Registered No. 552) from the MA-
NAIA TOWN BOARD to CHARLES TAIT and CHARLES
CARR, of land in the Township of Manaia, will be treated as
lost, and the production thereof for the purpose of register-
ing a certain dealing with the said lease will be dispensed
with unless caveat be lodged at this office on or before the

THE DUNEDIN CITY AND SUBURBAN TRAMWAYS COMPANY
(LIMITED).

Proposal for Authorisation of Electricity as a Motive-power
on the above-named Company's Tramways in the City of
Dunedin and the several Boroughs of North-east Valley,
South Dunedin, St. Kilda, and Caversham.

NOTICE is hereby given that the above-named com-
pany intends to make an application to His Excel-
lency the Governor in Council to extend and vary the several
Orders in Council following, that is to say,—
(1.) Orders in Council dated respectively the 13th day
of November, 1877, the 10th day of November,
1884, applicable to the City of Dunedin;
(2.) Order in Council dated the 7th day of January,
1881, applicable to the Borough of North-east
Valley;
(3.) Order in Council dated the 7th day of January,
1881, applicable to the Borough of South Dun-
edin;
(4.) Orders in Council dated respectively the 7th day of
January, 1881, and the 3rd day of November,
1884, applicable to the Borough of St. Kilda; and
(5.) Order in Council dated the 19th day of October,
1883, applicable to the Borough of Caversham,
authorising the construction of tramways in the City of
Dunedin and the Boroughs of North-east Valley, South
Dunedin, St. Kilda, and Caversham respectively.
