RANGITIKEI COUNTY.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A GRAVEL-PIT.
IT is hereby notified that the Rangitikei County Council,
under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1882,”
and the Acts amending the same, intend to take 1 acre of
land, being part of Section 3, Block XI., Rangitoto Survey
District, and situate on the north-west boundary of such
section, distant 2837 links from its south-west corner, for the
purpose of a gravel-pit; and it is hereby also notified that a
plan of the land required to be taken for the same, together
with a list of the owners and occupiers of such land, so far
as they can be ascertained, is deposited at the office of the
Rangitikei County Council, Marton, and is there open to
inspection; and all persons affected by the taking of the
said land for the above-mentioned purpose are hereby called
upon, if they have any well-grounded objections thereto, to
set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within
forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the
Chairman of the Rangitikei County Council, Marton.
