NOTICE to NATIVE OWNERS and LESSEE of a MEETING to be held at the COURTHOUSE, HAWERA, at 2 o'clock p.m. on MONDAY, 9th APRIL, 1894, to fix the Rent for a NEW LEASE to ROBERT PALMER of Section 16, Block II., HAWERA, containing 100 acres (more or less), being Land comprised in Memorandums of Lease registered Nos. 443 and 818.

Whereas the above-named Robert Palmer has given notice to me, under the provisions of section 8 of "The West Coast Settlement Reserves Act, 1892," that he desires to obtain under that section a new lease of the land above described; and I consider his application ought to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do hereby appoint a meeting to take place between the said Robert Palmer and all the Native owners of the above-described land, for the purpose of fixing the rent to be paid for the said land for the first twenty-one years of the new lease; and I fix the Courthouse, Hawera, as the place where, and Monday, the 9th day of April, 1894, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, as the time when, such meeting shall take place.
