Whereas the above-named Abraham Clough
has given notice to me, under the provis ions of
section 8 of "The West Coast Settlem ent Re-
serves Act, 1892," that he des ires to obtain under
that section a new le ase of the land above
describ ed; and I consider his application oug ht
to be g iven effect to: Now, therefore, I do hereb y
appoint a meeting to take place b etween the said
Ab rah am Clough and all the N ative owners of the
ab ove-described land, for the purpose of fixing
the rent to be paid for the said land for the
