MEETING to be held at the COURTHOUSE,
HAWERA, at 9 o'clock a.m. on TUESDAY, 27th
MARCH, 1894, to fix the Rent for a NEW LEASE
to JAMES RICHARD LYSAGHT, of part of the
MOKOIA RESERVE, containing 640 acres (more
or less), being part of the Land comprised in
Confirmed Lease No. 14.

situate in the County of Patea, being portion of
the Mokoia Native Reserve, and containing by
admeasurement 640 acres (more or less), being
part of the land comprised in confirmed lease
No. 14, and to James Richard Lysaght, of Hawera,
settler, lessee.
Whereas the above-named James Richard
Lysaght has given notice to me, under the pro-
visions of section 8 of “The West Coast Settle-
ment Reserves Act, 1892,” that he desires to
obtain under that section a new lease of the
land above described; and I consider his appli-
cation ought to be given effect to: Now, there-
fore, I do hereby appoint a meeting to take
place between the said James Richard Lysaght
and all the Native owners of the above-described
land, for the purpose of fixing the rent to be
paid for the said land for the first twenty-one
years of the new lease, and I fix the Courthouse,
Hawera, as the place where, and Tuesday, the
27th day of March, 1894, at 9 o'clock in the fore-
oon, as the time, when such meeting shall take
place.

APRIL, 1894, to fix the Rent for a NEW LEASE
to RICHARD ENGLAND McRAE of Section 25,
Block VII., WAIMATE, containing 64 acres
(more or less), being Land comprised in Memo-
randum of Lease registered No. 449.
TO Manaia Hukunui and the other Native
owners of all that piece of land situate in
the Waimate Survey District, being Section 25,
Block VII., and containing by admeasurement
64 acres (more or less), being the land comprised
in memorandum of lease registered No. 449, to
Richard England McKae, of Manaia, farmer,
transferee:
Whereas the above-named Richard England
McRae has given notice to me, under the pro-
visions of section 8 of “The West Coast Settle-
ment Reserves Act, 1892,” that he desires to obtain
under that section a new lease of the land above
described; and I consider his application ought
to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do hereby
appoint a meeting to take place between the said
Richard England McRae and all the Native
owners of the above-described land, for the pur-
pose of fixing the rent to be paid for the said
land for the first twenty-one years of the new
lease; and I fix the Courthouse, Manaia, as the

Block VII., WAIMATE, containing 23 acres (more
or less), being Land comprised in Memoran-
dum of Lease registered No. 451.
TO Manaia Hukunui and the other Native
owners of all that piece of land situate
in the Waimate Survey District, being Sec-
tion 111, Block VII., and containing by ad-
measurement 23 acres (more or less), being the
land comprised in memorandum of lease, re-
gistered No. 451, to Henry William Ellerm, of
Manaia, settler, lessee.
Whereas the above-named Henry William
Ellerm has given notice to me, under the pro-
visions of section 8 of “The West Coast Settle-
ment Reserves Act, 1892,” that he desires to
obtain under that section a new lease of the land
above described; and I consider his application
ought to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I
do hereby appoint a meeting to take place be-
tween the said Henry William Ellerm and all

less), being the land comprised in confirmed lease
No. 51, and to William Douglas, of Te Mahunga,
near Napier, sheepfarmer (as administrator of
the estate of John Douglas, deceased).
Whereas the above-named William Douglas
has given notice to me, under the provisions
of section 8 of “The West Coast Settlement
Reserves Act, 1892,” that he desires to obtain
under that section a new lease of the land above
described; and I consider his application ought
to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do hereby
appoint a meeting to take place between the said
William Douglas and all the Native owners of
the above-described land, for the purpose of fix-
ing the rent to be paid for the said land for the
first twenty-one years of the new lease; and I
fix the Courthouse, Hawera, as the place where,
and Saturday, the 7th day of April, 1894, at 11
o'clock in the forenoon, as the time when, such
meeting shall take place.
