NOTICE to NATIVE OWNERS and LESSEE of a MEETING to be held at the COURTHOUSE, MANAIA, at 11 o'clock a.m. on MONDAY, the 2nd APRIL, 1894, to fix the Rent for a NEW LEASE to SMITH DAWSON of Section 45, Block XIV., KAUPOKONUI, containing 135 acres (more or less), being Land comprised in Memorandum of Lease registered No. 741.

TO Ngatai Rakaunui, Nganeko, Te Tutu, Kina, Ngatauerua, Te Arapo, Te Puhi, Puhi Rāwiri, Tuku, Te Hinganga, Rangipaki, Kura, Manaia junior, Ruka Kato, Harry Patukopa, Ngamiraka, Ngonepu, Toru, Rongotoa, Tawhirangi, Te Hi, Ngataioma, Te Rangi, Tumuia, Ngagaha, Mahea, Tahere, Pukia, Te Waiwhakamanu, Ngaki and Tuhipo (Trustee, Pukia), Pire, Robinson, Kuraroa, Rangi Hana, and Noho Pa (Trustee, William Robinson), Matakirangi, and Te Kamukamu (Trustee, William Robinson), Rangihawe, Rongo, Karewa, Hori, Kahira, Mateawatea, Te Wae, Wahangahi, Ngatai Hiniona, Uruhapu, Wakaneke, Te Awa, Waikauri, Otakou, Te Noti, Tahunaroa, Matakuatea, Te Manu Irirangi, Taiuru, Tutai, Pukia, Moetawa, Wharepuehu, Hinenia, Waikiao, Te Kehu, Te Waipounamu, Taiwawe, Ngawira Tokotana, Ngawira, Tumupo, Pi, Karere, Ngahaka, Tungane, Tapuirangi (Trustee, Heao Hokorima), Te Angi, Ihakara te Tata, Kepa Huti, Tawhiri, Karira Heta, and the other Native owners of all that piece of land situate in the Kaupokonui Survey District, being Section No. 45, Block XIV., and containing by admeasurement 135 acres (more or less), being the land comprised in the memorandum of lease registered No. 741, to Smith Dawson, of Manaia, farmer, transferee.

Whereas the above-named Smith Dawson has given notice to me, under the provisions of section 8 of “The West Coast Settlement Reserves Act, 1892,” that he desires to obtain under that section a new lease of the land above described; and I consider his application ought to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do hereby appoint a meeting to take place between the said Smith Dawson and all the Native owners of the above-described land, for the purpose of fixing the rent to be paid for the said land for the first twenty-one years of the new lease, and I fix the Courthouse, Manaia, as the place where, and Monday, the 2nd day of April, 1894, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, as the time when, such meeting shall take place.

NOTICE to NATIVE OWNERS and LESSEE of a MEETING to be held at the COURTHOUSE, MANAIA, at 9 o'clock a.m. on TUESDAY, the 3rd APRIL, 1894, to fix the Rent for a NEW LEASE to CHARLES DAVIES of Sections 55 and 56, Block I., WAIMATE, containing 211 acres 2 roods 6 perches (more or less), being Land comprised in Memoranda of Lease registered Nos. 572 and 629.

TO Te Rama, tamaiti (trustee, Ruahau), Tarawhiti, Hinewhakaatangi, Ngaepu, Rangiaitu, Ngariki, Tairuakina, Ngaemiciini, Taihuru, Wharekakaho, Mitiwai, Ngamanae, Tama te Ania, Te Mira Tuatini, Te Angi, Tamou, Te Tana, Te Manu, Ngawharo, Hirini, Karena, Toene, Toka, Te Ngehe, Rangihaua, Ngawerawera, Te Kura, Rutua, Waitawhiti, Manunui, Rangi, Kahurere, Materoa, Ngaumu, Hinemanu, Pare (Rama), Kurataupiri, Ngaipo, Haereta, Te Whakatapui, Rangitaratara, Kuakura Ngarua and Puarere Ngarua (trustees, Kura Taokiri and Tahawhakataka), Pani, Kau, Ruahau, Tipene, Hinekohu, Haumiri, Rangimaimaino, Pari Kawhia, Whakamou, Tiki, Te Piki Pakiere, and the other Native owners of all that piece of land situate in the Waimate Survey District, being Sections 55 and 56, Block I., and containing by admeasurement 211 acres 2 roods 3 perches (more or less), being the land comprised in memoranda of lease registered Nos. 572 and 629, to Charles Davies, of Otakeho, settler, as lessee.

TO Ruawhiti (alias Ropiha Haungenge), Tuhia Rangimourihau, Heta te Kauri, Karira Heta, Tawhiri, Matiu Wharematangi, and the other Native owners of all that piece of land situate in the Waimate Survey District, being Section 33, Block II., and containing by admeasurement 500 acres (more or less), being the land comprised in memorandum of lease registered No. 1139, to Alexander Catto Milne, of Otakeho, settler, as transferee:

Whereas the above-named Alexander Catto Milne has given notice to me under the provisions of section 8 of “The West Coast Settlement Reserves Act, 1892,” that he desires to obtain under that section a new lease of the land above described; and I consider his application ought to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do hereby appoint a meeting to take place between the said Alexander Catto Milne and all the Native owners of the above-described land, for the purpose of fixing the rent to be paid for the said land for the first twenty-one years of the new lease; and I fix the Courthouse, Manaia, as the place where, and Monday, the 2nd day of April, 1894, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, as the time when, such meeting shall take place.

Whereas the above-named James Cowper has given notice to me, under the provisions of section 8 of “The West Coast Settlement Reserves Act, 1892,” that he desires to obtain under that section a new lease of the land above described; and I consider his application ought to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do hereby appoint a meeting to take place between the said James Cowper and all the Native owners of the above-described land, for the purpose for fixing the rent to be paid for the said land for the first twenty-one years of the new lease; and I fix the Courthouse, Hawera, as the place where, and Wednesday, the 4th April, 1894, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, as the time when, such meeting shall take place.
