Zealand, do here notify that cock pheasants and quail may
be taken or killed within the Neson District, conisiting of
the Counties of Waima, Buler, and Collingwood, from the
first day of May, one thousand eight hundred and ninty
four, to the thity-first day of July, one thousand eight
hundred and ninty four, both inlclusive (subject neverthe
less to the reatriction in the said Act mentioned); and I
do further notify that license to take or kill game within the
said district shall be issued on payment of the sum of twent
shillings each, and that license to sell game and native
game shall be issued on payment of the sum of five pounds
each; and the Chief Postmasters at Neson and Westport
are herey apppointed to sign and issue the said license.

And I do further declare that native game, excepting
tui, huia, white heron, and creasted grebe, may be taken or
killed within the above-mentioned district from the second day
of April, one thousand eight hundred and ninty four, to the
thity-first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and
ninty four, both days inlclusive.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governer,
this twent second day of February, one thousand eight
hundred and ninty four.

Shooing Season for Importe and Naitve Game, License- fee, &c., Waitaki District.

GLASGOW, Goveror.

IN exercise of the powers veed in me by "The Anials
Protecction Act, 1880," and the Act amending the same,
I, David, Eal of Glagow, the Goveror of the Coly of
New Zealnd, do herey notify that cock pheasants and
quail may be taken or killed within the Waitaki District,
conisiting of the County of Waitaki, from the first day of
June to the thity-first day of July, one thousand eight
hundred and ninty four, both inlclusive; and that hares
may be taken or killed within the said district from the first
day of April to the thity-first day of August, one thousand
eight hundred and ninty four, both inlclusive (subject never
the less to the reatriction in the said Act mentioned). And
I do further notify that license to take or kill such game
within the said district shall be issued on payment of the
sum of twent shillings each, and that license to sell game
and native game shall be issued on payment of the sum of
five pounds each; and the Chief Postmaster at Oamaru is
herey apppointed to sign and issue the said license.

killed within the above-mentioned district from the second day
of April, one thousand eight hundred and ninty four, to the
thity-first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and
ninty four, both days inlclusive.

killed by couring only within the Southland District, con
sisting of so much of the County of Southland as lies to the
westward of the Maita River, together with the Counties
of Fiord, Wallace, and Stewat Island, excepting therefrom
Resolution Island, off Dusky Sound, from the second day of
April, one thousand eight hundred and ninty four, to the
thity-first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and
ninty four, both inlclusive (subject never the less to the
reatriction in the said Act mentioned). And I do further
notify that license to course hares within the said district
shall be issued on payment of the sum of thirt shillings
each, and that license to sell game and native game shall
be issued on payment of the sum of five pounds each; and
the Chief Postmaster at Invercargill is herey apppointed to
sign and issue the said license.

And I do further declare that native game, excepting
tui, huia, white heron, and creasted grebe, may be taken or
killed within the above-mentioned district from the twent-sixth
day of March, one thousand eight hundred and ninty four,
to the thity-first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and
ninty four, both days inlclusive.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governer,
this twent-sixth day of February, one thousand eight
hundred and ninty four.

Notifying Land in Marlborough for Sale by Public

GLASGOW, Goveror.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon
me by the one hundred and thirteeth section of "The
Land Act, 1892," I, David, Eal of Glagow, the Goveror of
the Coly of New Zealnd, do herey appoint Wednesday,
the fourth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and
ninty four, as the time at which the lands enumerated
in the Scedule hereto shall be sold by public aucton at
Blenhein, and I do herey fix the prices at which the said
lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Scedule
hereto following the description of such lands respectively.

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.—AVON SURVEY DISTRICT.

Section 7, Block II., 671 acrs; upet price, £337 10s.
Weighed with £29 16s. 5d., cost of survey.

Section 8, Block II., 591 acrs; upet price, £295 10s.
Weighed with £27 13s. 4d. cost of survey, and £57 value of
improvement.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governer,
this twent second day of February, one thousand eight
hundred and ninty four.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon
me by the one hundred and thirteeth section of "The
Land Act, 1892," I, David, Eal of Glagow, the Goveror of
the Coly of New Zealnd, do herey appoint Wednesday,
the eighteenth day of April, 1894, as the time upon which
the lands enumerated in the Scedule hereto shall be sold
by public aucton, at Stratford, and I do herey fix the
prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned
in the said Scedule hereto opposite the description of such
lands respectively.
