I, the undersigned, hereby make application to register
the Lucky Shot Gold-mining Company as a no-
liability company, under the provisions of "The Mining
Companies Act, 1886."

  1. The name of the company is to be the Lucky Shot
    Gold-mining Company (No Liability).

  2. The place of operations is at Wilson River, in the Pro-
    vincial District of Southland.

  3. The registered office of the company will be at No. 161,
    Hereford Street, in the City of Christchurch.

  4. The value of the company's property, including claim,
    is one hundred pounds.

  5. The number of shares in the company is ten thousand,
    of ten shillings each, of which four thousand are fully paid
    up.

  6. The number of shares subscribed for is eight thousand
    six hundred, on which two hundred and thirty pounds has
    been paid up.

  7. The name of the Manager is William Hickley Gundry.

  8. The names, addresses, and occupations of the share-
    holders, and the number of shares held by each at this date,

lieving the same to be true, and by virtue of an Act of the
General Assembly of New Zealand intituled "The Justices

BLACKSTONE HILL GOLD-MINING COMPANY
(LIMITED).

NOTICE OF INCREASE OF CAPITAL.

I, the undersigned, Manager, hereby give notice that an
increase in the capital of the above-named company
was, on the 29th day of January, 1894, resolved on.

The mode adopted for the increase is by issuing a second
issue of eight hundred and twenty-five new shares of one
pound each, and a further third issue of eight hundred and
twenty-five new shares of one pound each, such new issues
to be subject to the provisions as apply to the old issue of
shares, and that dividends on the new and old issues be de-
clared according to the proportionate amounts paid upon
same.

COUNTY OF WAITEMATA.—NOTICE OF INTENTION
TO TAKE LAND FOR ROADS.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed by the Wai-
temata County Council, under the provisions of "The
Public Works Act, 1882," to execute certain public works,
to wit, the construction of roads in the County of Waitemata,
and for the purpose of such public works the lands described
in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice
is further given that copies of the plans of the said roads, and
of the lands so required to be taken, are deposited at the

County Office, Palmerston Buildings, Auckland, and are
there open for inspection. All persons affected by the execu-
tion of the said public works, or by the taking of the said
lands, shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the
execution of the said public works or to the taking of such
lands, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing,
within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to
the Clerk of the Waitemata County Council, Palmerston
Buildings, Auckland.

In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1882"; and in the
matter of the Mount Egmont Freezing Company
(Limited).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary
general meeting of the members of the Mount Eg-
mont Freezing Company (Limited), held at the office of the
company, at Waitara, on Wednesday, the 31st January,
1894, the following extraordinary resolution was passed:
"That the Mount Egmont Freezing Company (Limited)
cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and
it is advisable to wind the same up voluntarily."

And notice is also given that at such meeting the follow-
ing resolution was also passed: "That Mr. Thomas James be
appointed Liquidator."

land, and that I have deposited my evidence of qualification

has been dissolved this day by mutual agreement.
